babsd218, my dh and I are doing the same Christmas present for our boys! They are 5 and 16mo. We are also going the same days as you. We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort. I don't know how I can wait until Christmas though, I so want to tell my oldest, he is going to be so totally excited. Actually the surprise was supposed to be for me too, my dh planned the whole trip including taking his mom along but his sister told me last night. She didn't know it was a surprise for me. But I'm glad I know now, I am getting a chance to read these forums and get so many useful tips! Have a fun trip.

2bearsmom, isn't this exciting. My kids are going to be besides themselves. I don't know how they are going to be for the 2 weeks after Christmas until the trip. I hope you guys have a great time. That was terrific of your husband to plan a trip for the family as a surprise. Now you can be excited about the trip with him.

Hello All,

I just booked our airfare for the families next trip. We are going to WDW from Jan 13-21 but will be staying offsite at Sheraton Vistana Resort through our timeshare. This was a spur-of-the-moment trip that DW decided we needed. We hope to keep this a secret at least till CHRISTmas before will let the girls (12+9) know. I haven't even started looking or making any plans/itinerary yet.

I have to confess this is our 4th trip tp Disney in 2 years, we can't get enough!! lol

We are going Jan 24-28 and staying at ASMo. We go every January and the last few years the weather has been anywhere from the 30's at night to the 90's mid-afternoon. Just pack for all weather but most of the time we just wear shorts or capris, with a short sheeve shirt and jacket.

Cool! I'll have a Lime Green Mickey Head with "GoofyBaby" written on it, probably in the center of the window. We're hoping for the 50's section, facing the lake, but who knows what we'll actually get!

Well, we were staying at CBR but dh just called today and we switched to the Family Suites at All Star Music. It was a toss up between that and Pop Century. We really wanted a separate room and bath since my MIL is coming along too. Plus I like the little kichenette the Suites have.
