I am trying to find someone who is going on the January 20th cruise.

You found someone! Six of us went last January and we'll have 15 (5 cabins) next January. That's five families and we are thrilled. We're in cabins 6528, 30, 32, 36, 38. We'll be at the POLY for four days before the cruise.

We're not going but my friend is - it will be their first Disney cruise -- I told her she HAS to check out DISBoards so I was looking for the January 20, 2008 thread - glad I found y'all - I'm gonna send her a link!

I'm jealous that you get to stay three more days on the Wonder! Tears well up when I see that sign See You Real Soon. That always comes too soon!

My boyfriend and I are doing the land/sea package and will be on the Jan. 20th Wonder cruise (we're at POR before that). This will be the first time either of us has been to WDW or on a cruise! I'll be in my last quarter of law school, so this is kind of my premature graduation present to myself.

I think the boy is a little concerned that there won't be anyone else near our age (25 and 27) on the ship or anyone else without kids (nothing wrong with kids, we'll just probably be spending a bit more time on the "adult" side of the ship).

I'd love to hear from other DISers who will be on this cruise. Maybe we can meet up in Route 66 for a martini tasting! :

Right now there are 15 of us. My parents are celbrating their 50th. We will have my sisters' plus our 4 kids ages 4-8 plus my Aunt and my cousin with her husband.

11 in our group. We'll be the ones all dressed matching b/c I'm strange that way- and for some reason the rest of the family puts up with me. It'll be my family with kids ages 3, 7 10, my parents and my sister w/ her dh and kids ages 1&6.

Three of us going (36,35,7) on the Wonder 1-20-08. SeattleGirl must be stalking us because we're also staying at the Port Orleans (FQ) prior to the cruse. This will be our first cruise ever and have no idea what to expect. Lets hope for smooth sailing, no sharks, and lots of suds.

No stalking, I promise:. Having never been to WDW, we chose Port Orleans based on pictures alone. I'm hoping we're in for a good surprise!

We haven't stayed at a WDW resort before either, a buddy suggested the french quarter. If you two are taking the cruise bus over from your resort, save us a seat.

I'm going to WDW for 4 days after the cruise, to recuperate from 4 days spent with my mom on the ship! I'll be at the Swan.

My DH and I are going with my parents (they're pretty cool too) on this cruise too! We're 31 and 32 and we're looking forward to finding other adults our age to party with too!! I went on a Disney cruise in 2000 with my BF and we had a blast. I agree, there is nothing wrong with kids, but the all adult areas are very nice.

I'm really excited for you two! I've been to WDW over 25 times and I hope you have an amazing time!

Well, wwe are getting quite a group together!!! And if you look at the Disney site, we are far from alone--looks like the ship is about full! We were on the Wonder in January '06 and had a freat time and great weather.

Before that cruise, we stayed at POFQ for 4 nights. It was a lovely resort--would do it again in a heart beat, but believe it or not our kids were given the option of adding a 3-night cruise or 3-nights at the parks. They chose more cruisin'--we are raising them right

I am so glad I found you all. This will be our first time as well on the Wonder (actually first time on a cruise). We are so excited. We have 2 kids (ages 7&4) so hopefully they can meet some kids too. We are going with my whole family (15) of us and we are all staying close to each other.

I thought TODAY was the 75-day mark for booking Palo reservations (for those who haven't cruised with DCL before). At 11 p.m. central time last night, I tried to book. Couldn't access my account...nor at midnight nor at 6 a.m today! I was getting very annoyed, then counted backwards from Jan. 20th - and TOMORROW is the day we can book excursions, dinner reservations, etc. I'll try again at 11 p.m. tonight!

So glad to add a few more to our group. KBuckley, I see you are from WV, we are a couple hours across the line in Fredericksburg VA. IT will be so nice to be SOUTH in January.

NancyIL, did you have success in your reservations? I booked Palo dinner, we had brunch last time and enjoyed it sooooo much. I thought we might try the bikes at Castaway Cay this time, anyone try that before?

I could've reserved dinner, but I didn't want that - just brunch. I'll try to make a Palo brunch reservation as soon as we board the ship.
