January 18, 2014 FANTASY 7 Day Western!

I haven't uploaded any pictures in a very long time. I hope this works. This was our door with the magnets on the Fantasy in January 2013.

I just used magnetic paper that I bought at Staples and on line and printed the disigns on them.

I have been trying to find a picture and this was taken of us on the Fantasy this past January. I hope I remember how to post it right.
We are Peg & Ira from Delaware. You will see us on our red mobility scooters.

I love it :thumbsup2

I'll add it under your name on the who's cruising with us list so we can all put faces to the names!

A few people have already posted pictures of their groups but feel free to post more! Pics from past cruises get me so excited! I can wait to finally step foot on one of the new ships! :cheer2:

This picture had a special moment also. My husband is retired from the AF and wears a baseball cap that says Retired AF. Mr Smee noticed his hat and after the picture he came over to my husband and stood at attention and saluted him as a Thank You for his service. It certainly made my husband feel good. Another example of the Magic that is Disney !

Hi,

Glad to meet you. We are from New Castle. Originally we lived in Olde New Castle in a house that my husband's great-grandfather built, but 6 years ago, we moved in with my Dad to care for him and our son moved into our home. After my Dad passed away, we stayed in his house since it is one story and we don't do stairs very good anymore.

Looking forward to meeting you on the cruise.

Peg

Glad to see your post, can't wait to meet you. Maybe we have a cup of coffee and chew the fat, I retired from the AF in 94. Wayne:goodvibes

Retired Marine here. I was medically retired, so I didn't get the full 20 in, but I would have if they wouldn't have put me out to pasture! Let's find a sailor and have a retired DoD All-Services Meet-up! I'd say we need a soldier, too, but we all know soldiers are scared of boats! :)

Wow... smaller world than I realized... after taking time to look at your pic, I realized I grew up with your kids! I lived in Olde NC too!!! I also were members of the same church. Are any of your children/grandchildren joining you? I have a daughter will be 9 by the cruise. I hope we can catch up for a few at some point on the cruise. You or your kids would know me better as Becky L.:banana::banana:

Wow Becky it is a small world. We definitely have to meet up on the cruise, we would love to see you.

Sorry, we will be alone, none of our children or grandchildren will be with us. We spend our winters in Florida now. We usually leave here the end of December and stop in Alabama to visit our daughter Cindy and her husband and then after the 1st of the year, we go to Kissimmee from January until the first week of May. Usually someone comes to visit while we are there.

Looking forward to seeing you !!!!

My husband would love to meet you all and talk military talk. Always have time for that. He has been retired since 1979. After the Air Force he taught 8th grade American History in the same school we went to when we were children. He retired from teaching in 2001. Now we just enjoy ourselves !!

It would be great to see you as well. We are on the FE exchange. If you are as well, you can reach us by our room. We would be happy to get a ring from you on the cruise.

Take care!

Becky,

We did the FE our last two cruises, so I don't think we are doing it this time. It is hard for us to go up and down some of the hallways for the rooms on our scooters to deliver the gifts. Regular hallways are OK, but where the rooms are there are usually laundry and maid carts and it is hard to get the scooters down some hallways.

We will meet up on the ship at some point for sure.

I completely understand! Our last cruise we had my mother in law join us. She had some difficulty with the already narrow halls with her walker, so I can imagine the difficulty you would have with a scooter. Feel free to look us up. It will be nice to see you both.

If you enjoy the FE and still want to participate, we would be happy to deliver yours with ours.
Take care

My husband is a disabled vet (army). :thumbsup2

Becky,

Thanks so much for your offer to deliver ours also. That is really great. I think I will wait a little longer until I decide to do it or not.

You are as nice as I remember.

We'll be taking the grandkids on their 2nd Disney cruise and helping their mom celebrate getting her Bachelor's degree right before be leave for the cruise - really looking forward to this one and checking out the newest ship.:cheer2:

Hi, I'm Patty. Will be traveling with family in a total of 3 rooms. Will post my info for Fish Extender when I get home and have room number handy. This cruise will be my big hurray for graduating college this coming December. Been a lot of work but is so worth it. My little girl will hopefully be bringing her friend, and my teenage son will be sharing a room with his uncle. (Oh no the man-cave!). Lol. This will be out second trip and I'm looking forward to going this time knowing more of what to look forward to.

Looks like we are making overlapping posts. Lol. Is going to be so fun. 6 months to go!
