Must of been all the pixie dust that fixed our van...lol thanks guys!!

Great News Tiffany! Now are y'all driving or flying? I'll continue to send pixie dust your way and will see you sometime Sunday by the Mickey pool!!!

Steph

Steph,
We are driving from Ohio so thats why it was such a biggie for our van to be okay...thank goodness for pixie dust :rotfl:

I hope you have a safe drive down Friday Tiffany. I know how you feel. A while back our van was acting up. I'm glad you are still going on the cruise. Can't wait to meet everyone Sunday.
Michele

Woo Hoo Tiffany!!! So happy to hear that your trip is still on! I will say a prayer that your van behaves perfectly for this long drive and long after!

See ya all by the Mickey Pool... :cool1:
Jamie

woops - just forgot to say Michele I am so glad to hear that Blake and Regan are feeling better too!! I'm sure that's a relief! Looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday!
Jamie

I am glad to hear that everyone seems to be doing well and cars seem to be fine. It is always in the back of my mind that those things can go wrong.

How long is the trip from Ohio? When are you leaving?

Yes, and looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday. My husband just hasn't grasped this whole DISboard thing. He wonders...we are meeting who?from where?how do you know them? It makes me laugh.

Laura,
It will be about a 19 hour drive for us, we are leaving Friday morning, we are staying in Kissimmee and will drive to the port on Sunday morning.

I havent even mention anything to my husband about meeting anyone, he would think I was nuts :cutie:

well guys we will be leaving in the morning! I am so excited! Hope everyone has safe travels to the port.

I will look for you guys on Sunday :sunny:

Tiffany

Good luck with your drive!! That is a long way. I have nowhere near as far you to drive and I'm a little nervous. I am sure it will be a good one for you and safe! Can't wait for Sunday!!!
Laura

I can't believe we're finally leaving today. :cool1: I hope everyone has a safe trip to FL. and enjoys their cruise.

Hello Everyone, sorry I didn't make it to the pool on Sunday, glad we met up Michele, even if it was on the way out on Thursday morning.

I hope everyone had as much fun as we did even with the cold weather!!!

Is everyone ready to start planning their next trip? We are!

Take care,
Steph

We were there, but didn't see anyone else! We had a wonderful trip and ready to go back!! However, we are still pretty exhausted!

I'm sorry we didn't make it to the pool either. We were still waiting in line at the port during the time to meet. I am glad we got to meet you too Steph. Maybe we'll run into each other in Louisville sometime. Jamie I didn't get your message until late Wed. I'm sorry I didn't get to call you back. Hope you enjoyed your cruise. We had an eventful trip. Taylor got a scratched cornea on the cruise and then broker her colar bone once we got to Orlando after the cruise. We're still recovering today.

Hi everyone!

I am so relieved to hear that we are not the only ones who didn't make it to the pool as planned! I really wanted to make it there, but that afternoon took on a lilfe of it's own and we were getting ready for dinner before we knew what hit us.

Wow Michele - you really DID have an eventful trip!!! I am so sorry to hear about all of Taylor's troubles! Did she have to go see the ship Dr. for the scratched cornea? How the heck did she manage to break her collar bone? Poor kid! I really hope she (and all of you!) are recovering from all your adventures :goodvibes . No need to apologize for not calling back by the way - the cruise felt like a whirlwind to us - and I can about IMAGINE what it felt like to YOU! I think I mentioned in my message that I did get Nathan and Blake together, so that was fun. Nathan always wanted to know if Blake would be in the club when he was going. He said they had fun together, so that was good.

I am curious what dining rotation did everyone get? We ended up with the earliest (5:30) and found that we really ended up feeling rushed alot, so that is the one thing I would change, (well, other than some of the wheather!) but other than that we had a great time!

I think it might take at least a week to catch up on our sleep though.

Jamie

Hi Guys, I apologize for not meeting at the pool as well Sunday was a bit hectic. We actually just got back today, we spent another week in Orlando and Fort Myers, its nice to be home but its sooo cold!!

I would of love to of met everyone but things happen.

Hopefully soon I will get some pictures posted.....we didnt have our camera for the cruise, my husband had it in his laptop case and I told him NO WAY was he taking his lap top on the boat so he said okay, left it in the car and didnt realize the camera was in it  luckily my mom had hers so she took some pics for us.

Hope everyone had a great time, we did! The seas were pretty rough the whole cruise and thankfully no one got sick.

Tiffany

:cool1: LOVED IT! Room 2605 catagory 10....first time on the Wonder ship...how did it go for you? :hyper2: Hubby and I were so bummed that the kiddies went nighty night before the pirate: Pirates of the Carribean Party started :( :sad1:

Jilly,
We were Cat 9 deck 1 ( we had room 1044, even decorated our door )

My son missed pirate night, but my daughters were awake to go....my brother was even on stage not sure what it was for :confused3 but he was contestant #3 Doug from Ohio ( the guy called him John Travolta..lol ) We were up on the higher deck and were suprised to see him up there dancing

Jamie,
It was great that Blake and Nathan got to meet. We didn't take Taylor to the dr on the ship. I was ready to take her Wed. morning and she started doing better. At WDW she fell off the bed and landed on her shoulder while we were unloading the van. The hotel called an ambulance out to look at her. The EMT's thought she had sprained her shoulder. They didn't think she had broken anything. After a few days she still wasn't using her arm and would cry when we changed her clothes... We had her checked out and the x-rays showed a hairline fracture of her collar bone. She would only wear the arm sling for a day. She is doing much better now. How was your trip to Orlando after the cruise? Did your boys have lots of work to make up at school? Blake finished his missed assignments last night. He had more to make up than I thought he would.

Tiffany We are missing the warmer weather too.
Michele
