January 14, 2012 Eastern Carribbean Cruise

I think I forgot to have our info added:

Duane, Becky, Adam (12) Meghan (9).
Celebrating our 10th anniversary
1st Cruise!
Bernards tours excursion, 2nd dinner seating
room # 2506

Hey everyone!

We finally have our fe done and gifts are ready to go....can someone help with the official count? I think I counted twelve cabins. Any confirmation would be appreciated as well as instructions for delivery. This is our first time participating and we want to do it right! LOL!

We can't wait!:cool1: -Missy

I'm lame. I haven't done any magnets, probably wont. I am not crafty! I'll try to remember a dry erase board though.

The extent of my magnets will be the lime green Mickey paint chips from Home Depot, if I can find them, lol. If I can find the Mickey ears for the door number from the last trip I'll bring them too.
The sad thing is, I tend to be very crafty. I just don't have the time to do what I would want to do.
So we can have lame doors together

I think it's 12 total though, including yourself, right?? So 11 gifts?

Thanks! That is what I thought but I wasn't sure if there had been late additions. I am driving my family crazy with my early packing and check lists. I leave next week for training in Phoenix, flying into MSP to meet up with the family. I need to be organized and hoping for no major snow...not sure how successful I will be with either one! :rotfl:

Hi, I have a question...I am interested in the Bernard tour but I don't see it listed in the section of the Disney cruise activities. What is it and where did you sign up? Thanks! ~Susie

Hi All!
First time cruisers here and, well, first time travelling with the kids! We are from Trenton, Ontario, Canada and our kids are 2 and 3 years old. My little guy will be celebrating his 2nd birthday on the ship January 15th. I'm looking for any helpful advice or tid-bits from the more experienced cruisers, anything would be helpful! I've been reading about these Fish Extenders and I would like to participate it in. Any suggestions of what to bring to give? Is it candy? How much would I need to bring? I also notice in photos stateroom doors are decorated. Is it magnets?
Thanks All!

Welcome Raysbride! Unfortunately it is too late to get in the FE as most have already finished them up. But again, anyone else is welcome to answer. We would love to have you as a member of our group. If you would like, you can leave some info like cabin number, what excursions you have signed up for, Palo, brunch, tea.

We have a facebook group also. You can friend me from my signature below, and I can invite you to the group. Also the doors are decorated with magnets, no tape. On the DIS boards you can get an idea of how some people decorate their doors.

Glad you are here! :cheer2:

Hi! I have your new FE...it will be my little gift to you. I will hang it on your fish. Enjoy!

Thanks Momster. I didn't realize that the "fishing" was an arranged group thing... I thought it was more a bizillion strangers dropping candy at doors, lol! As for excursions, nothing booked as my little guy doesn't meet the age requirement and I wouldn't leave him on the ship as I am off it. We have a cabana booked for CC and we will also arrange to purchase the picture CD from the week. We will do Palo for supper one night but not too sure which one until we see the navigator. This cruise for us is a celebration, we are celebrating my daughters brave journey and her battle she won with cancer. It will most certainly be a memorable time!

What a wonderful reason to celebrate!

Added your initial info to the group roster, if you want to add your room number, names, etc, just let me know!

Hi! I just found this site and am wondering if it's too late to join "Fish Extenders"? I'm still trying to figure all this out! This is our first Disney Cruise and we're so excited! My husband and I are going with our 9 year old daughter. Yipee!

Sorry for the late reply, We'll include you on our list for FE exchange!

I hope everyone doesn't hate me... But I spent so much time on FE gifts already and I would have to make trips back to 3 stores to get more supplies... I just can't do another goodie bag at this point. Sorry guys!!!

As long as I get one. ;)

Thank you! Could you tell me the instructions? I want to make sure I do this right!

Thanks all for answering my questions! Not too worry about my family with the fish, like I say I thought it was open to anyone on the ship and the drop was something simple like candy, nothing as extravegent as what I am seeing here! I have read some confliciting information on tipping on the site and looking for your expertise and advice. Some say $4 per person, per day and others are rounded off figure. I was thinking of tipping my server $100 and my room maid $50 both at the end of the trip. I want to be prepared and I also want to in line with what is expected. Again, as a virgin cruiser I'm unaware of the "norm", please be honest with me if my dollar amounts are fair. I will exchange currency in Canada before I leave to USD. I have also read about small thank yous for GS, CM, etc., and I read that those mini Canadian chocolate bars are a hit! I would give this I guess when I have the pillow cases signed!?!?

Our stateroom is 8088. DD (3) Camryn and DS (2) Calvin

TIA... again!
