I originally was going to book an excursion in San Juan but I also have been doing research and I also think it looks like a great port to just get off and explore. Can't believe the cruise leaves 3 months from tomorrow

I have been reading up on San Juan, it sounds really neat! We haven't decided on an excursion, but right now, it looks very walkable. As for St Thomas, we are going to take DS on his first snorkeling adventure. He has been practicing in the Y pool with his mask and tube, very funny to watch. We had to reassure him that he probably won't see any man eating sharks (at least we hope not. I can't wait!!! Maybe I can get my weekly fix by watching the Fantasy sail out tomorrow pm. Its easier to pass time by the sail aways on Saturdays.

What snorkeling trip are you planning? We are thinking of doing the turtle one

I have looked at the other excursions, but DH and I haven't had time to sit down and discuss our options. We have been so busy with Scouts, PTO, etc...the boys are actually at a scout campout this weekend and next.

But we are probably going to do the Doubloon snorkel, we have been on it twice without the kids and had a great time. They are a lot of fun and I think that DS would have a great time.

And, only 13 more Fantasy sail aways until we leave....

Is anyone interested in a Pre Cruise Meet for dinner the evening before at either Fishlips or Grills?

We would consider a pre-sail dinner.
We're staying at MCO-Hyatt.
Would it be an expensive cab fare from there to FishLips??

We'll be at MCO hyatt as well I think Fishlips may be at the port so a very expensive cab ride indeed Are you taking Disney transfers over to the port? Maybe we'll see you there.

I did my online check in this morning and was surprised at the number of openings for Remy and Palo for our cruise. Either not many people are signing up to eat there or our cruise isn't very crowded. I have no real desire to eat at Palo but I reserved a meal at Remy I guess my tastes run more French than Italian.

Hello all! I am getting so excited. I have checked here and the FB group, and it seems like our meet is set for 3pm embarkation day in the atrium. Is this correct? Thanks! Hopefully the DVC meet is at 2, as we would like to do that.

90 Days left..... was able to book my Birthday dinner at Palo's as well as the Palo brunch on day 6. I also got Lynda's spa date. all that is left is to book are excursions.

I'm actual debating if I will treat myself (and lynda) with the Ultimate Indulgence package.. but looks like you have to book that on the cruise.

Really getting excited! Now that September is over and all the craziness of kids is sorted I can really focus on our vacay

quick question for those of you already checked in. Are you required to complete the online check-in first before accessing the booking windows.

I was able to do everything last weekend and the booking windows open at 12pm midnight but you are not able to do online check in until 3am. So, to answer you question, you do not have to complete the online check-in first.

It's an hour drive from the airport to the port. Way Way too expensive for a cab. A Car rental would be cheaper. But honestly, I think it's not worth putting a two hour trip in for this. Don't worry about it. Kick back and relax at the Hyatt, and we'll see you on board at 3pm

Just checking back in. We've been sidetracked with an issue re: our Sept 29 2013 cruise disappearing from the website only to learn it's been privately chartered. We suspect it's DVC.

Meanwhile the booking window opened up on this cruise and we hadn't researched any excursions.

Thought the magens bay in St thomas looked good but went with St. John Trunk Bay Beach and Snorkel Tour instead.

Also couldn't decide on San Juan but settled on Castillo San Cristobal, a World Heritage Site – featuring Youth Activity.

We found this out when we checked in last Sun. Had to login several hours later to do the online check-in.

we're also planning a precruise stay at the MCO hyatt. Right now we're reserved on a stay certificate rate but haven't purchased the certificate just yet. Still holding out for a better deal.
