I also think you had a good idea about stopping to take names at the end of November so we have plenty of time to get our gifts together. Did any one have problems making reservations this morning? for palo's. I was on the computer for over two hours and it would not let me make palo's reservations.

What time did you log in to the DCL website? If you do it right at 12:00 Midnight, i've heard that causes error messages, so it is advised to wait until 12:01. Also, I also had gotten advice to clear my cookies from my Internet files earlier in the day just in case the website somehow "thought" i was already logged in earlier in the day. I deleted the cookies and logged in at 12:01 and had no problems reserving both my Palo dinner and brunch at the times I wanted...I'm sorry for you having problems though! Maybe try to delete the cookies today and try to log in again and see what happens. If that doesn't work, I would call DCL customer service. The good news is that when I had my choice of reservations, every time slot was still available (10-12 for brunch, and 6-9 slots open for every night at Palo), so hopefully today if you get in you'll still have plenty to choose from. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I had to call disney this morning and have them make the reservations for me. I tryed signing off three or four times but it still would not let me do it. I am at work now and it still would not let me do it. It would not even let me make reservations for my excursions.

Ok, I have a plan and I need your input!

I have found a 4 nite DCL Cat. 12 for $1779 for the 3 of us. With air the total will be $2186. If I rebook our Trans and get the 10% I can save $1000? So the Jan. trip will only cost $1100.....I will then cancel our extra days in Barcelona and save $1800, and come out $700 ahead?

What do you think?

I just don't know that we can wait 18 months for a trip! and this would give us a fix until 2010.

Hi Everyone! I was just curious about how many of my fellow cruisers will be dressing up for Pirate Night on our cruise? I've read threads that said on some cruises lots of people dress up, and on others hardly anyone does. I think it is such a fun thing to do, so my sister and I already got full pirate costumes (got them 50% off right after Halloween!), and we are really looking forward to the Pirate Party. Who else is planning to dress up?

I have updated my list to include OZ Family, just haven't updated the post here. That brings us to 10 cabins participating. If anyone hasn't signed up, Nov. 30 is the last day!! I will definitely have the list out to everyone before the end of December. If I don't have your cabin number, please PM it to me as soon as you know it. I know that some may not have that yet.

A meeting would be great, but I don't have any ideas on when or where. If someone wants to be the organizer of that, it'd be fabulous. I have heard that the Promenade Lounge is a good meeting place and that is where my last cruise meet met, but I didn't attend.

That Castaway 5k sounds fun. I am doing the half marathon at Disney on the 10th, so I am not sure my legs would want to do anymore, but I might just try it anyway.

For those of you up for the Castaway Cay 5-K Fun run challenge, it is normally held around 8:30am (PLEASE check the ship's navigator that day to reconfirm the time & where to meet) & is from the ship to Serenity Bay & back. I figure after a night of pirating / plundering , etc.... a good "Fun Run" oughta do me some good.
And yes, if anyone of you would like to all meet up somewhere (my best guess would be sometime during day one), please post your response as I don't mind orchestrating/ coordinating it.
