The member cruise was the best cruise EVER!!

Jason Surrel and make your own mini vinylmation. Claire is awesome and was very interested in talking to members. There were only around 250 kids. Lots of time with characters. Discounted spa treatments. Fabulous two days at castaway. Great dinner at palo. Best surprise of all were broadway stars came on the cruise and did a phenomenol show last night!!!! Atmosphere was awesome and very DVC family-Any questions?

Wow, you got to see the movie? was it at Midnight? That's when they previewed The Odd Life of Timothy Green on our cruise. We did't stay up, but some of our family did!

Did you participate in FE? What sort of gifts? Will you do it on our MC? I thought the door decorations were cute...I'm thinking maybe we can to that.

I am totally new to all this but I'm so excited about the member cruise. This will be my first Disney cruise and I want to make the most of it. I might be late to the game here but I'd love to participate in meeting others on the cruise with postcards or whatever else. Please let me know how I can get involved.

Would anyone be interested in a pre-cruise meet? Maybe for a drink or dinner. We will be arriving on Tuesday. We are staying at OKW. We are planning an evening at Downtown Disney and one at Universal City Walk. Let me know what you would like to do. . It is just me and my DH.

If people are meeting I'd be interested too. The DH and I have ADR on Wednesday at 5pm at Cape May but were going to go to DD afterwards. We're staying at BCV.

DSis, DCuz and myself are staying at AKV from the 6th on. We have an ADR at Be Our Guest on Wednesday @ 4:20. I'm hoping, crossing fingers, hoping for Pixie Dust, whatever it takes, to find out that the Top of the World Lounge will stay opened to ALL DVC members staying at WDW on Points! That's the way it is now through the NYE time. I understand blocking out NYE, but I think it would be great if that venue were opened for us to meet!

Now,if that's not the case...yes, let's plan for something!

We just decided today to book this cruises, as some of our friends just did too! I am Tracy, from near Chicago, IL. My DH, Adam, will be on the cruise with me. We will be leaving our kiddos at home for this one.
This will be our 7th Disney cruise, 3 on the Magic, 2 on the Dream, and 1 on the Fantasy; but our FIRST Member Cruise. We have been DVC members since 2009.
I so can't wait to meet everyone!

This will be my 6th Disney Cruise, the second MC for me. I'll be with DSis, who has been on one of the Disney Cruises with me and the family, and DCuz who has not been on a DCL cruise yet!

DSis/DCuz live in different areas of New Jersey, I live in SW Ohio. DH has to work and can't join us. The three of us will all be retired people by the time the cruise commences! I'm the last holdout of the three, and the oldest!

Does anyone know if they are doing a Palo Brunch on Friday, (sea day)? It wasn't showing up when I went in to make reservations this morning, but I don't know if it isn't happening, or if I just missed it and the advance reservations are gone. If a platinum or concierge guest has successfully booked this, please let me know, we might try to make a reservervation once on board, but if no has seen this as being available, we won't bother.

I couldn't get Brunch either, at midnight last night, but I am told that some concierge and platinum folks snagged these already.

You should be able to still get ressies on board. They're always so accommodating. One tip I learned; go in with others because they have more 3+ people tables than 2 people ones.

We're on the cruise before this, so we'll try to get our ressies in the night before this cruise; they've done that for B2Bers before. I always book a 3+ (our daughter will be 19 at cruise time) and, if she doesn't want to join us, we can either invite other people, which we've done before, or just have the 2 of us go.
