One neat thing they have (which is fairly inexpensive) is the key west aquarium. It is a very old fashioned one and quaint. They have a touch tank and explain to children about nurse sharks and rays (while the trainer feeds them) she then will take a baby nurse shark out and let everyone pet it. Outside they have more sharks and a saw fish that you can watch being fed. The saw fish is really cool I had never seen one of them.
here is a link to their website.. http://www.keywestaquarium.com/
oh and if you show them your key to the world card you get a few dollars off per person to get in.
Greg,
I have a lot of free information on Key west that will help you decide what you would like to do in my hometown - all it takes is a large manilla envelope, self addressed with about $3.75 worth of stamps on it - mail it to me at The Perfect Gift 6550 North Atlantic Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Fla 32920 - I offer this simply due to the fact that there are coupons, infor etc in there and you can pick and choose -
If I can help further, just drop me a note at snelsonbrown@aol.com
Always
Shirley
