Jan how hard to get into VWL, BCV?

Looking to change resorts at 7 mos would like to try either Wilderness Villas or Beach Club how hard are these to get into the first week of Jan

First and second week of Jan is the Disney Marathon (depending on when people arrive - before the marathon and departing right after it or arriving right before it and departing a few days later). So it might be hard.

BCV and VWL are two of the smaller resorts so availability can be difficult.

First week - not easy for BCV - we've booked already at 11 month window - last year couldn't get some of our nights at 10 months!! Not sure about VWL but is usually just as popular
