You may or may not have noticed an empty area at DLRP between "It's a Small World" in Fantasyland and "Videopolis" in Discoveryland.
From the intial planning stages of the park there was to be a further attraction placed there, the financial problems of the park in the early years meant that the project was abandoned.

2006 - Robert Iger, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Walt Disney Company, announces that Disney has agreed to aquire computer animation leader "Pixar" in a transaction said to be worth 7.4 billion dollars.
