Jan crowd ???

I was wondering if the crowds pick up the week of Martin Luther King Day? We were thinking of moving our vacation up a week but not if the crowds are going to be heavier.

We went Jan 04, and people say the crowds were heavy, but we never waited more than 10 minutes for a ride, and when we used fastpass, we walked on to everything. I think it will be more crowded than the end of Jan., but nothing compared to other times of the year.

January of this year the crowds were a bit heavy during MLK weekend, but dropped pretty quickly after the Monday holiday. If you go, stay away from EMH parks on that weekend and you'll be okay.

Thanks. We were actually thinking of changing to the Wed. after the Monday holiday so it sounds like it won't be an issue.

We like to go in January. We did go once over MLK day and found it busier than other weeks. We chose Jan 20-25, 2007 for our next trip which is the week after MLK.

Although, the Pirates & Princess event is starting on the 22nd so I wonder if that will impact our trip at all in regards to the crowds?????

We went this past yr the same week. It wasn't bad at all. A whole lot better than Feb. We are going again Jan. 12-22. We love the weather this time of year and the crowds!!
