We're driving too - leaving Friday after I get off work and will most likely (depending on traffic) drive all the way down. Thinking about staying at Radisson at the Port again.

We'll be at the Radisson, too! We always fly in a few days early to relax before the cruise.

I think we're going to have to pass on the FE exchange this time with everything going on here, I just don't have enough time to get it all together.

No problem...it's always tough when you cruise right after the holidays! We'll still expect to see you all at the meet and greet....and someone is arranging a ladies tea if you're interested!

Do you leave your car there and take the shuttle? That's what we did last time and it worked out good. Took us a while to actually get ON the shuttle, even though we had ressies on the 1st one out...they had issues with a wedding party...

We do take the shuttle. Every once in awhile there's a delay, but it's usually not too bad. We go on the first or second one out...like to sit at the terminal and people watch. Sooo much fun to see the faces on little ones when they walk in!!

We tend to end up at the hotel bar in the evenings. If you get down early enough, join us for a drink!

Hahaha - duh - if I had paid attention while I was reading I would have seen where you wrote "we always FLY ..." - lol.
We probably won't get in until at least 2 am - we've got about an 8 hr drive - so be sure to drink one for us!!

I have read most of this thread and DW and I are anxiously looking forward to cruising with all of you.
This is our first DCL although we have 14 prior cruises with RCCL.

Our son is an entertainer on the Magic, and we are coming to visit with him along with his sister ( our DD ) and her significant other.

This sounds like a great trip and wonderful people.

We won't infringe on the activities that you have scheduled, but may stop in just to enjoy the commraderie and friendship. It's always more fun when you know a person or two.

We don't have a room number yet, as we are on a Cat 5 GTY.

OK, everyone...I'm shutting down the sign-up for the FE. As it stands, we have 15 cabins, and about 50 people signed up!!

I am waiting on cabin numbers from phred52, tink576, tink113smom and Brooke3L. If you guys could get those to me ASAP that would be great. I know some of you were waiting for cabin assignments, and if that's the case just remind me if you don't mind.

The spreadsheet has a breakdown of age/sex for everyone's convenience. Look and see if any of your information is missing or incorrect. I know I'm missing several first names, and this can be important for personalized gifts some people may make.

I guess I really should get started making my FE at this point, huh? Wish me luck!
