Jan 9, 2010 Western Magic

Hope you all had a MAGICAL time!!! I was wondering if you could share some insight into a few things for those of us sailing later this spring (April 3 - Western Magic):

1) How are the expansion projects at Castaway Cay coming along? What's done and what's still a work in progress? Did any of your kids try the new Animal Tracking Series activity?

2) Speaking of that new kids' programs, has the Magic implemented the changes to the kids' programs we've recently seen reported? (http://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=1064) If so, what did you think about the changes, especially the mixing of the ages? Good, bad, no big deal? DD12 is excited by what she's read so far, but we haven't seen many first-hand accounts.

Thanks a bunch!

Hi Charliez, sorry I don't have any real answers for you. I did notice work being done on Castaway Cay but to be honest I was so taken in by everything else that I didn't pay much attention. As for the kids club my boys only went once and the new program according to the article isn't going to be implemented until spring. I kinda wish it had been up and running, my boys were separated, I have a 4 and 5 year old and I think they would have done better together. It was by far the best vacation we have ever had and can't wait to go back! Have a great time on your cruise:thumbsup2.
