Jan. 4th, 2007 Cruise - Points have been changed!

I just got a call from DVC that the Jan. 4th trip has been changed back to Value Season!

So sounds like an upgrade to me!

Just wanted to let all interested parties know.

So if it changed back to value season, do you know how many points per person are needed for a Cat 11 stateroom. Thanks

Category 11 is now 67 points per person (1st 2 ppl).

Do you have DVC website access? It's posted, but not changed yet on the points allocation. If you decide on the trip, I would verify when you book. Just say you were told by someone who booked! Good luck!

WOW. I rented out my points so I could have enough to book this cruise since I couldn't afford regular season points. I guess that was a lot of work for nothing. Any chance the cash prices went down too?

Thank you very much for the info. I am not a member yet, still waiting on ROFR. The property I am attempting to purchase has 140 banked points, and our family had already made a reservation for the cruise on the 4th of January, and they still want to do the cruise, thus we will just cancel the current reservation and make it again with points if we pass ROFR. Our 2 DS's are going to be 16 &12, thus we are wanting 2 Cat 11 staterooms so they can each have their own bed. At 67 points pp we will have enough points to do this. Thanks again TreesyB.
