One note to everyone:
If you dont post much you probably arnt aware the dis boards just put in new servers and they do have some bugs to work out of the new system.

One of these bugs is keeping Sabrina from posting, although she can read posts. She is on our cruise list and is doing a fish extender too and she will be at the meet. They are from Maryland.

Sabrina contacted me and asked me to explain it to all of you so you would understand why she hasnt posted. She will be cruising with her son Payton who is 7 and her brother Matthew who is 19. Her parents wernt interested to cruise.

So I hope you will all give her a big Hello at the meet and remember her for the fish extender exchange, she is on the list.

Ok, now I feel better, I did add all their names to the list.

I told her how nice you guys are.

Just made BLT's for dinner and chocolate pudding for dessert. we will be eating a little different one week from tonight

AAGGGHHHHH!!!!!! Delta cancelled our flight out tomorrow! I can't believe it...all week long I was so stressed out about the snow we were supposed to get today....well, we got rain instead, so I thought we were in the clear....WRONG! Apparently there is snow in Atlanta and they are cancelling tomorrows flights. You have got to be kidding me! I got us on another flight, but it is out of Boston, so we need to rent a car and drive 2 hours to get there. Atleast its nonstop, but now we don't get to Orlando till 6:30pm...we were supposed to get there at 12. So there goes a whole day at Disney! I am so frustrated...they kids are going to be so bummed when they wake up. To top it all off....none of our assigned seats are together! Please tell me they will fix this and not allow my 4 and 6 year olds to sit alone?

When you get to the airport to check in you just need to ask and they will sit you together. I t may be you and one kid and your husband and the other kid somewhere else but you will be grouped with a child. NO airlines will let a child that young be seated without a parent.


Maybe an option for the kids since it will be late would be do do aminaiture golf. even a 4 year old would probably like to try. They have 2 different places on property to do this.
The best for kids is the winter/summer wonderland courses by Blizzard beach.
The Blizzard beach bus will drop you off at the water park and just to the right of the park entrance is a short path to the mini golf. It is themed for Christmas and snow. 18 holes on each side. It is lit up after dark by Christmas lights and looks really cool. ask at the check in desk to make sure they have a blizzard beach bus running that night.

Or go to downtown disney they will have a bus for that. take them into the rain forest restaurant/ gift shop, it is like a jungle with a huge aquarium. Many stores for looking for souvenirs, a 24 plex movie theater for a movie if you want. Gheradeli has a ice cream/ candy shop there they will love!!

Even if you dotn eat there you can go into Planet Hollywood to see all the movie props, best to go up the stairs to 2nd floor to see best, then work your way down. Just tell them you wanted to see the decor and they will let you browse, hit it later in the evening so not at dinner rush.

There is a Lego land store there with a cool lego play area for kids,even a small playhouse and slide outside so they can play. Plus a McDonalds right next to it.

There is a great toy store there they ay like to look at the cool stuff up high by the ceiling and huge toy story characters and tinker toys outside of the building.

I know its not much but it will entertain them and give them some exercise after being on a plane. also there is Fantasia mini golf by the swan and dolphin hotel but it isnt as colorful as the other one.

Then you'll be ready to get up early and take off for a great fun filled day.

and dont worry they will seat you with your kids, but you must tell them the ages they are and how your separate and they will put you together. But do it ASAP. My daughter has had the same problem a few times.

And thanks for the support on the flight situation. We were prepared to be seperated on the flight down and sit two and two. If they can do that for us, all will be good. We have two DVD players, so it would work out...

Good, I hope they like the mini golf, at least its something to do and it is open late. we have gone over after the parks closed before for a round of golf. Winter will be shorter hours but still pretty late.

We are stopping at Hilton Head Disney for the night, then on to Vero Beach Disney for 2 days before the cruise.

Jackie, that sounds like fun to me, but be sure and bring some warm clothes too. we do have a cold front coming in tomorrow and I'm not sure how far down the state it will go, but better to be safe than sorry.


we are all cloudy and drizzling rain today, I can tell the thunderstorms are on the way.

Sure fire way to know it is going to pour rain later today because Greg is washing off the patio. Every time he cleans outside it pours.

Is anyone else having a hard time packing? I have no idea what or how much to pack for my boys. We are staying 5 nights after the cruise and have no idea what to expect for weather. I think I have way over packed and plan on starting all over again. I have way to much packed for my baby he takes up almost half the suit case. So I will be starting all over again.

everyone over packs, that is a cruise tradition
Our weather has been cold at night, but very pleasant during the day, so long pants and a jacket for mornings and evenings, plus your warm weather clothes for the cruise.

Now I dont over pack but for probably the first dozen cruises I had way too much clothes.
Now for dinner I can wear the same skirt or pants 3 times with different tops and black sandals go with all my dressy clothes so I only need then and my tennis shoes. No need to pack an entire outfit for each day. I keep basic clothes and just accossorize them differently each night, that saves a ton of room.

remember all resorts have laundry facilities to wash a couple of loads too, that will lessen what you need to bring along too,
I spend 20 minutes now to pack us for a cruise. I got it all down, now I will of jinxed myself and will forget something

well our weather is changing again

Now we are getting wind, so with the wind chill we are in the 30's this morning which is cooler than they predicted. We had thunderstorms all night but they are cleared out now.

Hi all, I'm Angela, Kelly's friend. My sister will now be joining Denise and I. I knew that Kelly had signed up for a meet, but she didn't tell me when or where, can someone tell me? This is my first and also my sister's first cruise, I'm really looking forward to it, but really sad that I don't get to hang out with Kelly.
