Jan. 22- 29 , 2011 Western Caribean Cruise on the Disney Magic!!!

You are in luck on two parts! My DH will be attending the cooking excursion (he did it last Disney Cruise and LOVED it!) and also is a HUGE bridge player! We'll have to coordinate when we get our act together and have our details ironed out! Counting the days til WARMTH!!!:goodvibes

Welcome back!! I think the cooking excursion will be awesome! I would love to do that one but with the kids, we are doing Nachi Cocum. No cooking classes, but a swim up bar!

I am sure that with all the card players here someone plays bridge. I never learned how...

GOOD NEWS! I will NOT be going to dinner naked! :scared1: I found a dress I fell in love with! Went and the first one on the rack was my size. I took it as a good sign.:thumbsup2 I had my mom come with me because DH says everything looks good on me(but he is supposed to say that) where as my mom is brutally honest. I tried it on and it fit as if it were meant for me! She loved it so it took me about 7 seconds to take it off and buy it! I even found shoes! :cloud9:

This year I seem to be a bit off track of my usual Christmas routines. For example... My tree is usually set up on the 15th or 20th of December and taken down Boxing day(yes, I am a scrouge!) but this year my tree was put up on Dec 1st!!! I usually shop for Christmas presents December 23ish and this past weekend I almost finished ALL my shopping! The only people I have left are my sons girlfriend and my brother in laws girlfriends son. I even finished up the last of my FE shopping! :cheer2:

I told DH we may have to crusie every January. I seem to be more excited about the holliday season and get things done alot earlier! :dance3:

well just when i thought phew

That sounds like a great plan. We have vacationed in January for the past several years and have really enjoyed it.

Glad to hear that you found a dress you like. I have not been successful yet.
I have finished my FE"s though and feeling a little less pressure now about that. Still waiting to see when the magnet cutoff will be so I can complete those too. I'm hoping it will be before Christmas.
I must say that making homemade FE's and magnets has been alot of fun. My DD has had fun especially and makes her even more excited for the cruise.
I really need to get cracking on my Christmas shopping now and then everything will be all set!
Have a great week everyone! Less then seven more to go before we cruise!

o well just were the awesome new stilettos and maybe no one will notice thats all u have on:lmao:

Wow! That is great, CaymanFan! And I'm furthermore happy to see that I won't be the only HUGE guy!

Oh, what's that? That's not what you meant? :duck:

And a big :thanks: to dizzi for the Palo tea suggestion, I shall graciously dash towards the reservation desk once onboard. :teleport:

Hello Dear co-sailors!

Am I the only one not able to book Palo for tea? I log on at midnight on the first day it was open for the first-timers and was able to secure brunch and dinner, but nothing was available for tea. :confused3

Maybe reservations don't open until later, or on board? Or... all of you Castaway Club members took 'em?

You can come clean and confess, I won't replace your FE candies with broccoli! :rolleyes1

You should definitely be able to get one onboard. If they are booked, you can always join me, Chrisse & Lynn if you want!

My Brother is still in a GTY aswell and wondering the same thing. Others have said that it can appear around 45 days out. I would have expected a cabin assignment by now. We are anxious to see if they got something close to ours.

Kaaj and Partyoffour - Check your reservation. We received our GTY yesterday and your rooms are most likely assigned now too. Neither of our cabins were upgraded to higher category and we are now on different floors at complete opposite ends of the ship about as far aways as could be in category. They assigned them a handicap accessible room which surprised me more since they could keep that for other guests who need or want it. It's probably same size room but more isle space and slightly larger bathroom maybe. I called to see what other options are available but nearly sold-out and all others assigned. I wish I had stuck to our original cabins down on level 1 where we were next to each other and not paid to upgrade to a higher category. We like our cabin but not thrilled how far away they assigned apart. Thanks Disney Rep for recommending that option!!!!! :sad2:

So we are Cabin #7509 and now Linda Poulter is assigned to Cabin #6147

Woo Hoo! Post 1190!! Yay me!

Okay, people, I am bored! Why are you not here to entertain me???

44 more days to go!!!

:dance3::dance3::dance3:

Thanks and yes we did get cabin assignment. We are not near each other either..in fact 5 floors down! oh well...just an elevator ride away. They got a slight upgrade from standard inside to deluxe inside. This is good I guess since they could use the extra room.
Sorry it didn't work out for you guys.
