Jan. 22- 29 , 2011 Western Caribean Cruise on the Disney Magic!!!

Frustrating!
Isn't there a couple of adventure park options on the mainland for Cozumel? I know they looked really neat, I was bummin that my kids weren't older. LOL

I just spent like 2 darn hours on the disney cruise line web site trying to find a different excursion to do and i cant make up my mind.

I am aggrevated.

I DONT WANT TO SPEND MY TIME LAYING ON A BEACH.....i know that sounds crazy to most but i an do that any time i need adventure....

And we did the most wonderful excursion in Mexican riverra that i cant seem to find anythign to compare....................ugh i just dont know what to do.

We are keeping the jet ski excursion and just trying to figure where we wantt o snorkel cosumel or grand caymen and what to do at the other place.

I AM CRAZY TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should just be happy with anything......right

It is just hard when you are the decision maker ( i am sure all you moms or dads who are the decision maker can relate) trying to be budget minded, on a great vacation yet make everyone happy and have fun and meet everyones wants and desires and make noone miserable in the process......

I did see the adventure park, but i read comments about it that some people thought it was weak and the place was a bit dirty....becasue this was actually one of my first choices........would love to do horse back riding, unfortunatley DH doesnt meet the weight requirement......SSHHHHHH, dont tell him i said that.

I would love to do the dolphin thing, i just think it is a little pricey.
I am afraid to do the nachi cocom or what ever it is called becasue it isnt with DCL.

CHRISSE, i dont swim much either, THANKGOD for the blow up vest thing you wear i am constantly squeezing it to make sure it has air in it.

I am going to look one more time tonight and make a final decision.

I guess because my work has been sooooooo crazy and i have not had the time like i have had in previous cruises to just cruise plan i am starting to feel the crunch and be a little nervous.

I have heard nothing but good things about Nachi Cocom. The other plus to that one is there will be quite a few of our cruise mates there so i don't feel as nervous. That is the only reason I booked somethign that is not DCL. The fact that parasailing was HALF the price DCL charges, had somethign to do with it too. It seems like an awesome price for an all inclusive(including alcohol) resort.

I know what you mean about trying to make everyone happy. Everyone always tells me to relax and let the vacation happen. But they don't research a darn thing! And don't tell them but I enjoy researching and planning trips...most times! Is there something special your son wants to do for his birthday?

woo hoo my MIL finished making the FE and it looks great now i just need to figure out what we are going to put in everyones. We haven't booked any excursions but I think in Cayman we are just gonna hit a resort on 7 mile beach, Cozumel i think will wonder around and do some shopping if DS allows while DH goes snorkelling, no clue for Keywest as i did the trolley tour there so not up to doing it again. I have recommended it to the others travelling with us though. I don't generally worry too much about excursions and DH does the general research if there is one we are interested in.

When we get together for Christmas with DH's family im sure Disney will be all we talk about as they are all coming with us and we have the week in Orlando to plan out. We are having a hard time figuring out how to see the lights parade without being their on a day with the extra magic hours

Kelli had "?" for us originally on the Magnets and Scavenger. I know Kelli is traveling and not sure if some of you received the final list, but if not our family,cabin #7509 is planning to participate in all FEs, Magnets, Scavenger Hunt, & meets. I know Kelli updated list with us participating, but last list I found in my email still showed 11-24 update with "?" on Magnets so I wasn't sure if I had final either.

When you get this, if you are still making any minor adjustments or updates to list you can take off Linda Poulter cabin from doing FEs or Magnets. She will do the meets. If already set, she is ok still doing it, or not, either way. She and I thought since FE list is getting pretty large, and probably more focused toward kids, she would have just as much fun helping us prepare and deliver ours with her grandkids and would be one less adult cabin for others. We are ok on her cabin either way, just let us know. I know you tried sending but I don't think final list came through on my email and looked the same as the 11-24 list. Thank you again for all your work putting list together. This is going to be such fun activities, especially for the kids!

The last list I have from Kelli says your cabin number. It was dated the same as the one you have so maybe you have both? Might want to check old emails and see. I am sure once Kelli gets back to work, cleans up whatever she needs to from her time away, she will update your magnet exchange status.

GOOD NEWS! I will NOT be going to dinner naked! I found a dress I fell in love with! Went and the first one on the rack was my size. I took it as a good sign. I had my mom come with me because DH says everything looks good on me(but he is supposed to say that) where as my mom is brutally honest. I tried it on and it fit as if it were meant for me! She loved it so it took me about 7 seconds to take it off and buy it! I even found shoes!

This year I seem to be a bit off track of my usual Christmas routines. For example... My tree is usually set up on the 15th or 20th of December and taken down Boxing day(yes, I am a scrouge!) but this year my tree was put up on Dec 1st!!! I usually shop for Christmas presents December 23ish and this past weekend I almost finished ALL my shopping! The only people I have left are my sons girlfriend and my brother in laws girlfriends son. I even finished up the last of my FE shopping!

I told DH we may have to crusie every January. I seem to be more excited about the holliday season and get things done alot earlier!

That sounds like a great plan. We have vacationed in January for the past several years and have really enjoyed it.

Glad to hear that you found a dress you like. I have not been successful yet.
I have finished my FE"s though and feeling a little less pressure now about that. Still waiting to see when the magnet cutoff will be so I can complete those too. I'm hoping it will be before Christmas.
I must say that making homemade FE's and magnets has been alot of fun. My DD has had fun especially and makes her even more excited for the cruise.
I really need to get cracking on my Christmas shopping now and then everything will be all set!

I spent two days at Macy's over the weekend and came home with: a gorgeous pair of black leather riding boots, and a gorgeous pair of electric/royal blue patent leather and suede peep-toe stilettos. Neither of which will be of any use to me on the cruise, but make fabulous additions to my (obscene) shoe collection. So...perhaps I'll be the one who's naked at dinner?

I wish I had the shoe collection I used to( I used to manage a shoe store chain years ago) but where I live now I have no need for 300 pairs of shoes Nice to hear you bought some nice boots! I am looking for a pair that I like but still havent found any that smack me. I have always wanted to go to a Macys( it is my foster sisters name hehe) and if we have time the night before the crusie, DD and I may venture to find one.

So I read all these pages... Y'all are a talkative enthusiastic bunch of crazy people, you do know that, right?

I've booked us a night at the Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport for a meagre $45, all thanks to Priceline!

So far I just settled on one excursion, at Cozumel. It's the Thrilling, the Invigorating, the Ever-Exciting, the Über-Action-Packed Mexican cooking workshop!

Ahem... IT'S MY VACATION AND I WANNA COOK SOME FOOD, DAMMIT! Maybe because I'm not the mother of 4 overeating tweens, I actually look forward to a nice day of cooking, enjoying a (dozen) glass of wine and sharing the meal with some nice people afterwards, before cavorting on the beach. So if you wanna join me, please come out of the kitchen closet and tell me so I won't be afraid to be alone there!

I've also booked something by myself at Key West, the parasailing excursion with Fury Cat. At $35, I couldn't resist! My friends have other interests there (they don't wanna admit they're afraid of heights, so to preserve their fragile egos!), so I will probably be by myself. Well, you'll all be roaming around, so I'm not worried!

I also booked the Palo brunch on Key West day (10 AM) and Palo dinner on Cozumel day (7 PM), which is also Pirate night, right? The Pirate menu didn't appealed to us that much, so it was a fairly easy decision.

I'll stop here for tonight, but I swear I'll be back quite quite soon!

Oh oh oh, before I leave... Please please someone tell me you wanna play a couple bridge hands with a 30 years old guy! Well, ideally 3 someones! It's a cruise, thus I must play bridge (I've played for about 7 years)! I must!

Welcome back!! I think the cooking excursion will be awesome! I would love to do that one but with the kids, we are doing Nachi Cocum. No cooking classes, but a swim up bar!

I am sure that with all the card players here someone plays bridge. I never learned how...
