We are definitely in for the FEs. I need to find out a little more about the meet, scavenger hunt, and magnet exchange first but those sound fun and sometime we would be interested in doing too.

I will read the posts and see what exactly is involved in those and the Magnet Exchange in particular. Is that more for the hobby collectors, like the Pin Trading that happens in the parks or is it just like the FEs, but placing Disney or related magnets on stateroom doors of those participating?

The Magnet exchange is different each time, I dont really know what we decided on for this one....BUt no it is not for the collector it is just for fun.
You canmake them or buy them.

One time we did disney, one time we did the state you are from, one time i made magnets ( wish i had that kind of time again!!!)

$10000???!!!! Seriously! I've heard you can upgrade at the pier for around $1500 if available. I am quite shocked though as we upgraded to a Grand Suite on RCI in 2006 for $700. Keep checking that there are suites available and I'm sure you can upgrade at the pier much cheaper!

I have also heard if we try just days before like just 3-4 days we could maybe get close to the same deal.....So we will def try again.

Yeah its tooo far out for them to give a great deal on a suite someone could take it up for full price between now and then.

LOL! Ya, Ewww. One of my good friends ex BFs was posting on my Facebook last night that it was 80°F there yesterday! They live in Tampa! I told them they might need to make room in case I decide not to come back and move in with them...lol. I am SO excited! I really can`t wait!

Ok, so Nachi Cocom... Who all is goign there? Or will it just be my family? I heard SO much talk about it early on the boards.

No we are not doing Nachi, i dont remeber what we are doing....either snorkel or tour.

And yes the weather is BEAUTIFUL HERE this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were suppose to go HOME for thanksgiving and becasue of a situation at work, (same situation i have been workign way too manyhours for) we did not get to go. I AM SO SAD AND BUMMED.....so i feel the weather this week is a blessing for me.

I am so very sad. I am not a sad person and i even hate that i am sad.
My 2 grown kids are going to be there. And my Brother Just an hour ago had his 2nd baby.

I wont see my family now until July since that is when my DS wedding is....and that will be an altogether different kind of family thing.

I will be fine.....I just keep thinking baout the cruise.

Wish i had a pregnancy to blame all my crying spells on.....(not really) maybe its menapause......HAHAHAHAH

Ok, there is alot of talk about getting something together for the kids to chat before the cruise and my kids are very interested in this. I had made up a group on our Facebook page but it seems we have alot of kids not on facebook and now looking at the FE list, I know why. Sorry for not considering the kids ages when I tried to set this up. That being said, there was also talk of having a kids meet thread attached to this one with our cruise date on it. Is anyone interested in gettign this set up and talking to a moderator to have it linked? If no one is interested in starting it up I can set something up I am just not sure how to go about it. Let me know what everyone thinks!

Hey, glad you popped on over!! I completely agree... we are also first time cruisers and it's completely overwhelming. Sometimes I wonder if the boards help me or just make me crazy. LOL

I think FB works, especially if those who don't have an account can just use their parents. My kids won't know about the cruise until Christmas... so I'll see how this transpires and if there are other kids their age taking part I can have them type as me on FB Thanks for the great idea!

Wow, there has been alot of chat since last checked in. Welcome to all the new familes that have joined our group. Our FE list a definitely grown. Looks like I'm heading back out for some more shopping
Key West is great and the weather has been perfect.

Royfam, yea the shirt is from Motherhood! Can't wait to wear it. So funny to hear about the aversion to certain foods. I got it as we were going out AGAIN because of the same thing! Right now ground beef makes me I'll just thinking about it. Almost all meat actually. And my cravings change by the hour. No joke the other day I downed a whole jar of pickles ( yeah I know - big shock). DH brought home another jar and by then I couldn't even look at it. And Cheechow, I crave wine or any alcohol. Obviously I haven't had any. And the funny part is I maybe have 5 drinks a year! Looking forward to potentially finding out the sex of this little one next week. Otherwise it would be after the cruise!!!
