Just posted over on a November 13th Magic Western cruise to see if anyone is willing to get an extra set of Navigators and send them to me. If someone does, I'll let y'all know & will make copies for anyone who wants them. I figure it will be pretty much the same as what we'll have...

So I am hurting from last nights walk and to reward myself, I walk another 2.8 Km tonight! At a much slower pace but still!

I can't believe in 3 months from today I am on vacation!!! Off to the city my mom and dad and the fosters and be pampered(hair, pedi etc) then off to Orlando for the cruise of a lifetime!!!!
YAY!!!!

Sorry you feel bad! Hope you are better soon... I had some yukky GI bug last week & it only took a couple of days to feel better.

I think I have mine set that vacay starts the Friday before we sail since we leave that day... Although I have since made the executive decision that I will also be taking the Thursday before off too, so I can get everything done and actually be relaxed when we leave on Friday. Last year I was ready to commit a felony by the time we left!

That will be nice to have the extra day off before you leave to prepare. I should consider that to hmm. We fly out on the Friday but Delta wants its to be a secret as to when I think since they seem to send me a schedule change every week

We start our vacation on the 19th of Jan! I have to go to the city and have my niece cut everyones hair and make sure I don't have any "arctic blonde" showing...lol. Then I still have to figure out when I want to go and make flight plan changes since I have NO idea how DCL is flying us. They don't tell you till 45 days before and if I make changes I have to make them 45 days before.... so I guess I have this week to make up my mind so if I have to do the flights on my own I can change my reservation with DCL. At any rate, I will be IN Orlando 3 months from today no matter what! Now my problem is I have NO IDEA what to get ready before I go. I have to shop for my son who will be house/dog sitting but other than that I am lost! I have never been away from home for 2 weeks before....lol. HELP?

I hope you feel better soon Lynn. I started to feel crappy myself last night. Work will be as short as I can make it today.

I have my ticker set for the day of the cruise as well so I think Kelli and Cheechow are the same and dizzi has it set for the 21st. Does that make sense?

Sorry to cause so much confusion!!!

OMG i sooooooooo cant wait to be driving to the hotel to spend the night before the cruise.

I cant imagine the difference in weather so i am going in with an open mind that it isnt going to be as warm as i normally like on vacation.....so that way i wont be disapointed!!!


I am used to doing all things sunny and warm on vacation... this time i am planning on bringing some books and a blanket and some warm jammies and snuggling up on the balconey and reading or on deck too i just dont want to be freezing.

I know for some of you....It wont feel too cold after being half way through your winter and coming down south. But i have southern blood so i get cold here in FLorida in the winter.....

SO ITS QUICKLY APPROACHING>>>>>>>>EXCURSION SETTING DAY>>>>>>>>>>>>>
WHAT DOES EVERY ONE HAVE IN MIND?????????? I JUST CANT DECIDE.......PArtially becasue i am afraid the water is going to be too cold....I would love to snorkel in cozumel but i jsut dunno.

I am REALLY cold natured! So I was thinking I would be way too cold. I would have preferred it a bit warmer but Bert & the kids were fine. I even went into the water at Castaway Cay and out in the sun it felt nice and warm. Did get chilly at night on deck and especially in the dining rooms so bring a jacket. I am hoping it will be a little warmer this year. Colder than usual winter last year I think... I think you will be fine to snorkel. If I can get in the water, I know you can! LOL

Oh, and for everyone who will be able to book this Saturday midnight, I don't think you should stay up to book. I am sure if you wait until Sunday you will be fine!

I can understand why the ones from down south would think it's cold on the cruise in January but for us Canadians, it's hot! It's a nice break from our very cold winter weather. I do admit that I find out on the decks it can get a bit chilly and breezy while the ship is at sea, but it is still sunny most of the time.
I'm starting to get the feeling that we wont get a ressie for Palo brunch since we are the last group to have that option(starting November 8). What do you think my chances are if I go on embarkation day?

I wasn't able to get brunch online but had no problem getting a brunch ressie on boarding day...
