Joining in! We're usually April/May travelers but are considering switching things up in 2010 and going in January.

Just over $400 savings.
Now I can wait for something better.
We booked Jan 2 - 10 at CBR and were able to use the AAA rate which was 20% on all but the first night. That night is still considered part of the holiday and the weekend, and they had no more AAA availability on that night though something may open up. The CM did check for a pin for me but no such luck, but he did say to be sure to check back if I found any new discounts available to apply to my reservation! And you can bet I will be watching for some great deal like a hawk!
But, I'm glad I at least have a room reserved now, I was worried that if something came out deal wise as was hinted may be coming Aug 12, maybe rooms would be booked like crazy and I'd be out of luck. So now I've got my room and I'm happy about that for sure!
) with a rep. Her advice to me was to call and book our Grand Gathering awhile (8 of us going needing 3 rooms). I asked her what then if a discount comes out for the duration of our stay. She told me I would just need to call back with my Grand Gatherings booking # and they would apply the discounts to all 3 of our reservations under that booking. Has anyone ever done this before? I've read about many people booking room only packages to secure their rooms, but what about booking everything? I want to ensure we get rooms but I don't want to loose out on any discounts if they become available.
While I was lurking on Disney's website yesterday I had a 'live' chat (as opposed to a 'dead' chat) with a rep. Any help or information would be appreciated as always!! Thanks!!![]()

*WISH* *WISH*
All will turn out well!
I was excited that we could book our package, but really at this point, I don't see us going in Jan 19-26,2010 if we don't see get or if they don't release the 4/3 discount. So i'm kinda bummed, a little ill over it. Mostly, becuase work has gone to level 10 stress factor. I will really need a vacation in January.. Oh well, i'm sure hubby will make sure we can go, i just am worrying...*WISH* *WISH*

January is off season, 2010 is $149. per night, last year AP rate was $89 or $99 per night. You would need to add 12.5% tax per night also.
Subscribing need a deluxe 1/2 through 1/11 for Marathon weekend. Got great AP rates 2 years ago for the same.
I don't really see our trip happening if there is not some kind of discount.
I booked the CR for Jan 3-8th with park hoppers and Dining Plan and it is OUTRAGEOUS!!! I really just wanted to get my room and have it in place. I hope that there will be some kind of a Deal offered...If not I may have to cancel depending on finances. Got my fingers crossed. Wishing for some Pixie Dust for all of us 2010 Disers.![]()
