I have to cancel our Nov. trip. I will be calling to do that tomorrow. The only time I can rebook is for Jan 23-30 2009. Does anyone know if that is a busy week for DVC'ers? I just want to know if I'll have any chance getting a room. I will stay at any resort, except OKW and would take either a studio or 1 bed room. So I guess I'm just curious as to what my chances are for getting something.


If anyone is on a waitlist for BCV, the ressie I will be canceling is for Nov 9-14 in a 1 bed room at BCV. I am so sorry to be letting it go. I called day by day to get that ressie and it would've been our first time at BCV. Airfare is so high and I just found out the DD has state testing at school that week, so my loss will hopefully be a DIS'ers gain!

I think you'll have a good chance of booking almost anywhere for that time frame, except AKV Concierge. I think you'll even have a fairly decent chance of booking BCV.

I agree with Chuck. We were able to change our OKW 2 bedroom to AKV savanna view at the 7 month window with no problems.

At 7 months for MLK weekend(Thurs-Mon) only thing that wasn't available in the 2br category was AKV CL. DH had DVC duty that morning and went with BW view.

Well I called this morning and.....I was able to get a studio for the weekend, Jan 23-25 at the BCV, and a 1 bedroom at the BWV P.V. for Jan 25-29. I also got on the wait list for a 1 bedroom at the BCV for Jan 25-29. Hopefully that will come through. Either way I am happy I got a room!!

awwwwwwwwww maaaaaaannn! I want a 1 or 2 br at bcv jan. 24-28 but i can't book yet cause we are not in the system yet........buying a resale.....it will probably be at least another week or so. Did they mention what else was still available during that time?
