Unbelievable. Now rooms are available at POP but since I booked through AAA I can't change the reservation. I have no way of doing anything until tomorrow morning, and I'm sure rooms wont' be available again by then.

NEVER AGAIN will I use AAA to book.

Alright we're staying 7 nights at the pop and three at the poly with 8 day park hoppers and the total came to: 2171. That's TEN nights! Unbelievable! With the 200 gift certificate!

I just spoke with my AAA TA. She was able to keep our existing reservation at the WL for 6 nights and we saved around $330. We currently have the quick service but we are going to upgrade to the reg dining plan for an additional $145 - so we still save around $200. Not to bad...and the free gift card!! She is trying to adjust my parents as well but said that the Disney computer system is down

I called my TA this afternoon, she'll be calling me back tomorrow. I checked the WDW site and they have club level rooms available at all the deluxes except GF and WL. Hopefully our TA will be able to apply it to our current ressie at WL club level. If not we may just down grade to a courtyard view, pocket the savings and have a fantastic trip, plus the gift card will pay for the trail ride and DH's golf Hmmm, that club level room at the Poly is sounding really nice too

How do you cancel your reservation online?

I couldn't - I had to call and do it over the phone. When I went to the online FAQ, they list the phone number. That part was a pain, but they did transfer my old deposit toward payment on the new reservation.

I was able to get 7nights @POR with 7day Park hoppers and dining plan for 2 adults for $1805.

I am so disappointed. This is our 7th time in 10 years, and we haven't been able to use a code, or received a pin, or anything, all 7 times. I was really hoping for the free dining, especially now with hungry teenagers.

Congrats to all those that can take advantage of this.

What do you think the chances are of a general public room-only code that's better than AAA?

I am right with you!!! I think our only chance is that there are still leftover rooms, so they will come out with a GP code. Oh how I wish I would get a pin!!!!

Unbelievable. My AAA TA couldn't get through for 30 minutes, and when she finally got through, there was no availability left for my dates, even though we already have the room booked.

Whether or not you already have a room booked is irrelevant in terms of availability. They can't just apply it to the room you currently have. They have to give you one of the discounted slots. So, if none of those are available, you are SOL. I'm sure there is availability somewhere at WDW, just not at that particular resort. You have to be flexible.

I do have one question hopefully someone here can answer. I was told I could use the gift card to pay for anything I charge to my room. I'm on the dining plan, so can I just charge the tip amount to the room?

Yes, you can just charge the tip amount to your room or you can pay for it directly with your gift card.

Could someone please help me! I'm trying to book this while doing a split stay. How do I do this!!

I think you have to call and talk to a CM about it. However, I think your three free nights have to be used at the same resort you stay at for your first four.

My TA did not mention the gift card.

I'm not sure when you are travelling but I want to mention that if it's after March 29th, you will not get a gift card.

Yes, with your reservation number you can check your reservation online at WDW.com.

Just booked January 24-31 at Poly with 6 day parkhopper for two adults, one child (DD3) for $2,423.18. This sounded great to me - tell me I am right!!

HI! I think that's great! We booked January 24th for 8 nights at the Polynesian with 9 day park hopper for two adults and an infant for $2585 and we get the $200 gift card too!!! See you at the Poly in January!!!

I tried. Since I booked through AAA they won't even talk to me. The said AAA needs to call.

I would like to try booking online myself to see what happens but does anyone know, if I am successful and then I cancel with AAA tomorrow, will I lose my travel insurance money?

I was really trying to be flexible, but I was trying for POP, and they ONLY had deluxe resorts available when my TA was trying!

Just curious. What was your total cost?

We went from POFQ 7 nights room only AAA at $1070 to GF garden view w/one day tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids for $ 2016. I figured this would be the one time when I could stay at GF for 7 night for under $2000. (I'm counting the $200 gift card.)

Plus I'm running the marathon so this will make things much easier for me.

Went from around $3400 to $2100!! Plus $200 giftcard!!!

Alright, I just spent some more time on the numbers and we'll save more if we do the deluxe longer! I'm on the phone right now trying to change the ressie. We'll be doing two nights at the pop and seven at the poly! So amazing

Quick tip for those of you who are having trouble getting what you want for 7 nights-- I kept checking for my top 2 choices and neither one was coming up for 7 nights online (and I was checking over and over). Just for kicks I decided to add one more night (to make it 8 nights) and what do you know- success!

OMG!!!!! I had sent my AAA TA an email, hoping she could check it from home, and she DID! She just called me and she's switching me right now! I GOT IT!!!!






I am going to have to send her a gift card to Starbucks or something. She's doing this from home and she's leaving for Disney in the morning! Now there's someone who knows what GREAT customer service is about!!!
