Jan 2009 Code Watch

Well. this is so appropriate - Cruella DeVille is playing in the background after being placed on hold for the 5th time, and so far they can't offer me the package unless I spend more $$$ or switch to another mod! :confused3 This is so anticlimatic. Glad some of you could take advantage. I had already calculated the savings and was sooo happy. Well, I guess we are still going to Disney, just not with a discount.

CM telling me that to get the deal it has to be length of stay tickets - so for my 7 nights, must be 8 days of tickets.
Well that's a bit crazy as I asked for 8 nights and 9 days of tickets and he said he couldn't do that..that it had to be 8 tickets...that I could upgrade as soon as I got there to 9 tickets.

I'm still on hold...I'm getting worried he's having issues switching things. He's been back a couple times saying it would just be a couple more minutes :confused3

I was on the phone for exactly 45 minutes switching an existing ressie to the new deal. My CM was apologizing saying that this is all so new. A supervisor was walking around helping people with questions, so it is just a matter of time until you are set. My CM had IT problems switching

I am sooo sorry but remember this, keep trying because someone may have overbooked and will cancel...

I ve been on hold for 30 :scared1: mins can I make a change to an existine ressie or do I have to cancel and rebook, does anyone know I am afraid to hang up and try again

You can make a change to an existing ressie. That's what I'm doing now. They may end up cancelling the first one once they book another one but either way, talk to them about your existing ressie first.

Yep I had that problem also...well not a problem but it is taking them awhile to figure it out.

I got 4/2free @ Riverside for 2 adults 1 jr 2 children 7day MYW w/ fun & more plus dining for $2885. I think last years code was better for us. But hey we will be at Disney!

It is a change to existing not a rebook in this case. (I still have my original confirmation number)

 AKL here we come!! We've gone from CSR to ASMu (suite), and now have 2 rooms at AKL for 10 nights, Deluxe Dining, for just under $6800. Now I just have to decide whether or not to make it a surprise.

Cool- so can you buy 4 nights get 1 free?

Yes.

try check in on the 7th...they just had availability for then (we fly in on the 8th :()

The 7th would be cutting it a little clsoe. We don't leave here until New Year's Day and it will take at least 4 nights to get to my parents place. It would be nice to have a couple of nights there before heading off to Disney.

This is a mess...I'm at work, so my DSIL has been on the phone for 40 minutes with the CM (I'm talking to her through IM)...1st, she was transferred to grand gatherings, even though we no longer were but the computer had us as a gathering still...she talks to the grand gathering CM and he's like this should have been automatically changed when your room was cancelled...now the original CM is telling her that there's no rooms available at ASMU for this...then told her that she didn't have a package...oh, so crazy. Thank goodness I'm not doing this, or I'd be like :scared1:

I figured it would be crazy. I'll sit here all night if I have to as long as she keeps checking on me. I don't mind. I'll send DH to my meeting.

I was on hold for 25 Min when a CM answered. I talked with him for about 7 min, then he put me on hold and disconnected me. Not all circuts are busy, and I can't get through.

i am so annoyed. our ressies are for the 1st through the 8th at a Value, and we were really really hoping to be able to upgrade to AKL like we did last year, and now our TA is saying that (of course) we have to move our ressie to start on the 4th and then of course we'd have to change our plane tix and Jet Blue just told us that it will cost $400!!!! to change our plane tickets for four people!! I am going to scream!!:guilty: :guilty: :guilty:

Our TA says that we could get AKL for 4-11th for just 2200, which is EXACTLY what we're paying for a VALUE! We LOVED AKL and I can't tell you how upset I am. And seriously, we bought the plane tix exactly one week ago as we were afraid they would go up in price!!! :(
