Jan 2009 Code Watch

Can't wait until tomorrow
Man I hope my AAA TA is going to stay until she gets through to disney. I need to make sure we get our deal done tomorrow as my 45 days is approaching and we are thinking of going off site (already have a great room booked in case) to save some $$. If she doesn't I may call myself and then have my ressie transferred over to her. I don't want to miss out on my GF theme park view!

I seriously need an east coast buddy - anyone willing?
I don't want to set my alarm for 3:50am if I don't need to. BUT if the deal comes out, will someone call my cell and let it ring so it wakes me? I won't answer, so it won't cost anything, just a wake up call - any takers?

OK I'm up!:scared1: Where are the rest of you early risers? I just could not force myself to sleep any longer. Well all we can do is wait and see.

Sadly, I'm up and its only 3:45am on the east coast. Even more pathetic....I've been up since 2:00am. Just couldn't sleep from all this excitement! Good Morning codewatchers!! (is it too early to say that)?:confused3

:surfweb:

No, not too early. I'm embarrassed to say that I'm up too, ready to start crunching numbers on the rumored stay four nights/get three free offer.

I'm up...and even worse, I'm not even planning a trip in January - I'm just reading all of these posts because people are active and excited about it on here! (I'm planning on going in June and it looks like the rate may be good for me as well for once!!!)

Not sure if the person that wants the wakeup call is still up, but if so, PM me and I'll call you if/when the code comes up.

Tinkbyday you are a NO CODE girl because you told me your child's Nana is paying for half your trip. You already have 50% off, unlike the rest of us. That's just mean.

My half is still about double your full - it is all relative.

And it is OUR trip - not my trip - Nana comes too! It is no different than a family with two parents going on a trip and pooling their money. I'm not sure why I need to explain that but hope it helps :)

The 4/3 will not help us either as we are going for 5 nights and airfare is already booked. Free dining would be nice, though.

Did you see the deal on the other thread?
Stay 4 nights and get 3 nights free at Walt Disney World plus a $200 Gift Card!!

This isn't official yet - but we hear this will be released at 5:00 pm tomorrow and we don't want you to miss out! Here is what we've heard:

Book your trip beginning at 5 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2008. How big is this discount? It's the biggest discount run by Disney Parks since 2001!

For every 4 nights - you get 3 nights free!
For every 4 days of tickets - you get 3 days free!
If you book your trip between January 4th and March 29th, you also receive a $200 Disney Gift Card to spend!

*****Book between November 6th and December 20th!*****
Travel between January 4th and June 27th!
Travel between January 4th and March 29th to include the Disney Gift Card.
Travel between March 29th and June 27th to include the discount, but not the Disney Gift Card.

If this is it, then I'm disappointed. It's also not a "BIG" deal: I priced our trip last night with the idea of pay 4/get 3, including dining (free for 3), and it came out $200 more than if they offered us just straight free dining!

This promo, if that's what comes out, just doesn't do anything for me.

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's different!!

I want to check in on Jan. 3rd?

Has anyone ever checked in the day BEFORE the discount goes into effect?

Personally I think it is an awesome deal - granted if you are staying at a value resort you aren't saving as much as staying at a deluxe if it goes only by the room discount.

You would have to book your first night as a room only and then start the package on the day the promo starts.

I ran the numbers, too.

And for two adults at a value, the package would be almost the same as a 40% off room only.

Except for..............

The $200 gift card.

That's the hook.

Thank you!

Darn....no tickets the first day? :guilty:

I guess that's OK. We could try to tour the deluxes to see if the Christmas decorations are still up.

Same thing for me. By the time I change my flight I will be saving very little:sad:(so much for getting my flight picked out early) . I liked last years code and small crowds.

We have a reservation right now for 6 nights...at AP at CR MK view room with Deluxe Dining. This way would cost us 3800.00 plus tickets (me renewing my ap at 3 other tickets...which would take us an additional 1200...so 5000.00

Running what it would cost for the 4 for 7 (4 nights at CR, MK view, DD, and MWY passes is $3821.49. I still can't stay the extra night....but can leave late that night now and have extra meals and if I don't use all my tickets can add on expiration. The $200 GC can cover that. Here's hoping...!!!:goodvibes

And yes....I had dreams of disney discounts:scared1: Think I'm losing my mind lol. But if I'm saving 1200.00 it's worth it!

Well the good news is if this is true, at least the code is spread over a large amount of dates.

Also if you have a package you have already paid in full, to change the package back to room-only will it cost me anything???

I've been anxiously awaiting too, but sadly this won't help me either. We have just a 2 night stay planned post cruise this year and no way to change that. I was hoping for a room only code.
