I've been anxiously awaiting too, but sadly this won't help me either. We have just a 2 night stay planned post cruise this year and no way to change that. I was hoping for a room only code.

Seems like after every package if offered, Disney comes back with a room-only discount a couple of weeks later. Let's hope that's true this time too.

Logging on to say hello as I sip away at my morning coffee, trying to relax amidst all this excitement.

Like some of the previous posters, I too would prefer free dining to the "buy 4, get 3 free" deal (just because we can only stay 6 nights) but heck, I'll be a happy girl with ANYTHING! And a $200 gift card would be just the icing on the cake.

So here's to some great news today, my friends. And remember: anything other than rack rate and/or full price is something to smile about!

I am currently paying rack rate! I have not been able to use the other discounts so far. I was about to buy us all APs to get the 40% off. (If we could even use that on our room!) So this would be so great for us!

We have a reservation right now for 6 nights...at AP at CR MK view room with Deluxe Dining. This way would cost us 3800.00 plus tickets (me renewing my ap at 3 other tickets...which would take us an additional 1200...so 5000.00

Running what it would cost for the 4 for 7 (4 nights at CR, MK view, DD, and MWY passes is $3821.49. I still can't stay the extra night....but can leave late that night now and have extra meals and if I don't use all my tickets can add on expiration. The $200 GC can cover that. Here's hoping...!!!


And yes....I had dreams of disney discounts Think I'm losing my mind lol. But if I'm saving 1200.00 it's worth it!

Thanks for the great idea! Our flight is not until 7pm so we could just keep the room until then, then I would not have to change my flight. You are brilliant!

Exactly if its a package deal and I have to buy a ticket it won't be a great savings for me even with the $200 gift card because I already purchased my AP. However if it can be applied room only that might make a difference a bit....although I'm not sure it would be worth the hassel of cancelling my package now and having to rebook everything!

I'm actually happy I'm going to Disney solo and managed to get my package for 1 at under $700 so I can't complain.

Per room - I haven't seen anything else to state the gift card will be given except for the post here. I would like to know where the person that posted it saw it

Good morning Snowbirds!!! This news is enough to bring me out of lurkdom! Up until 2 reading all the news, and up at 6 to see if dreams really do come true . This deal really would help us as we are plannning a 7 night stay and are somewhat flexible with travel since we are driving. If I'm crunching my numbers right, we could even upgrade to a moderate. Here's wishing you all lots and lots of pixie dust come 5pm .

With a moderate or a deluxe this is a better deal then the free dining offer
Where with the free dining offer the value and moderates were a better offer but not the deluxes

Every promotion is going to have people not happy with it but free nights is always a good promotion

If this is the deal, and I can only book 5 nights 5 days due to work schedule...will they let me use 4/1 instead of 4/3?

This would be a good deal for us, IF dinning is included in the 7 for 4 deal. It would save me about $1000. Do you think there will be black out dates? Our last night is Jan 16th and we have to pay rack that night
We can't change our dates due to airfare, so here's hoping

PS Our dates are Jan 10th -Jan 17th. Staying @ Pop, 3 rooms for our party of 10.

If dining was included also it would be better but I did not see dining mentioned in the promo they saw...just room and tickets at 4/3. Still doesn't sound like HUGE promo, largest Disney every offered! Well, guess we will have to wait till this evening..they say about 5pm?
