Jan 2009 Code Watch

With triplets you don't know what to do with yourself!!!!!!!!hahahaha:lmao:
I feel the same way! No triplets here though.

Soooooooooooo excited! The phones will be craaazy tomorrow! Wooo! :cool1: What time should I be waking up tomorrow??????? Do they usually release the deals at 8 a.m. est?

Did I mention I'm excited!

Thanks for the replies to my question! I'll keep my fingers crossed for everyone else, but it looks like a code won't help me much at all...oh well...
I am thinking about another trip later in the year...so maybe if the deals are awesome, I'll have to go ahead and book that!;)

Is it safe to buy your Disney tickets through someone else like mousesavers? I really don't want to get ripped off!

Yes, they are very good and I am sure many people here have also used them. From my knowledge they are authorized by Disney. I have used them many times, usually when we rent points and will not be needing a pkg.

I don't want to sound selfish.....but if there is a great deal that means the parks wont be their same wonderful January slow. I would rather ahve a med. code.

I think I might have to get up at 4am to get this deal - that is 7am EST - is that about right?

I sure hope it is a good deal. I've been wanting to plan a jan or Feb trip for a while now so I've been lurking. I decided today to call and get a quote. Whoa Nelly I had a bit of sticker shock.

I must be naive, since I was shocked that Feb is considered spring break. I just kept telling them that the middle of the winter couldn't possibly be spring break. So, we tried Jan but it was still too much for me to actually rationalize in my head given the present state of the economy. ;) If the price was decent, i certainly could justify it to myself (since we were just there in July)

When planning our first trip for this past July, I think I called there several times a day for weeks on end with newbie questions. The CMs were always so helpful. The guy I just got was not only like a robot reading a script but not very helpful whatsoever. Ugh. Totally turned me off, but, with a good deal, I'm sure I'd forget all about it:rotfl2:

A lot of public school systems have a week off in February (around President's Day) and a week off in April (around Easter - except in MA which has it around Patriot's Day (aka the day they run the Boston Marathon)). Not exactly "spring break" but enough of a break in the school routine to make it a busier time.

Then colleges generally have their "spring break" in March.

I believe this is an offer only available to UK residents as it is listed on the UK disney site. it has to be paid in pounds not $

omg- I just saw what it says on mousesavers.com
It already sounds AWESOME!!!
I can not wait until tomorrow. The phone lines are going to be CRAZY!!!!

That's what I was just thinking about. It'll be mobbed then....joy, lol. Well not as mobbed as the following months with more holidays and spring breaks. Wish we could keep the deal a disboard secret =P.

My AAA agent is on vacation this week (even they get to take them - LOL!) so I just did an online "chat" with an agent in the central AAA reservations center. I asked her if in fact, there is a code/discount that comes out tomorrow, can it be applied to our existing reservation? She said that if it was applicable, it can be done. She also said that if I can't get through to the other agent in our local office, then they can handle it through central AAA reservations and check into it for me and apply the discount if they can. Unfortunately, we are tied into just 5 days/4 nights, so if the discount is to add days - we are out of luck. But, free dining or 40% off would be OK! Let's keep our fingers crossed for something great.........

I just did some quick math, and if you are going for 7 nights, the pay for 4 nights, get 3 free deal is very similar in price to 40% off all nights.
