Believe it or not, no.

There's a strong rumor going around of a stay four nights, get three nights free promotion due to be released at 5 pm today. The rest is just us hyperventilating.

It's so funny. I can't believe how invested everyone is in the possbility of something we are not even sure of. I've been trying very hard not to work too many equations until I know what I'm dealing with. I've read posts where people are hoping for things that we will never get!

I think it's all part of the fun for people like us! We are seriously not only Disney obsessed, but just obsessed with planning! You know you're crazy when you have to remove yourself from your computer because you can't stop thinking about your vacation!!! Help, I have a problem!!!

$200 is for merchandise only?

No one knows, yet. It's all speculation.

Although, I can't for the life of me figure out why a $200 gift card would be limited to merchandise only. All of the other rumors make sense to me and I think we'll see something close to what is being discussed. I think the gift certificate will include food and beverage.

Keep in mind that I don't know anything for sure. I'm just speculating, along with everyone else!

Mary from Mousesavers says:

"If you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World in the first half of 2009, watch this space for a HUGE deal! I expect this exciting new offer will be released at 5:00 pm Eastern on Thursday, November 6."

She said this really is a HUGE deal, and she rarely uses that word. Also, she says no dining is included, but it is a package deal.

Tons of TA's confirmed 5pm today -- lots of CM's have said look for it on commericals (TV & RADIO) and on Disney's special Deal page.


Someone on DIS was told that this is the deal:

This isn't official yet - but we hear this will be released at 5:00 pm tomorrow and we don't want you to miss out! Here is what we've heard:

Book your trip beginning at 5 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2008. How big is this discount? It's the biggest discount run by Disney Parks since 2001!

For every 4 nights - you get 3 nights free!
For every 4 days of tickets - you get 3 days free!
If you book your trip between January 4th and March 29th, you also receive a $200 Disney Gift Card to spend!

*****Book between November 6th and December 20th!*****
Travel between January 4th and June 27th!
Travel between January 4th and March 29th to include the Disney Gift Card.
Travel between March 29th and June 27th to include the discount, but not the Disney Gift Card.

I've seen nothing except for one post stating it was "official." In reading that post, I assumed they left out the word "not" as they have no way of knowing whether it's the real deal or not. And, if they DO know, it would be nice if they shared the rest of their information!
