Yes, I made a reservation for Disney's Pop Century, a value resort, using my AAA discount and received this rate!

Got 2 nights CR 14th floor for 12/30 and 12/31. Booked WL 1/1 thru 1/4 but seriously thinking about AKL. We've never been to either. But...needacode...needacode...needacode...

Do I need to call Disney directly to get such a good price and ask for the AAA discount? I only need a reservation for one night because we leave for a non-disney cruise the next day. The Disney website said it would be $89.08 and so did my AAA travel agent.

Please advise.

I called 1-407-Wdisney. I spoke with one person when I first called and she said the AAA rate wasn't available. I immediately hung up and tried again. This time, I got a very helpful rep--Mckayla (not sure of spelling). Anyway, she quoted me the $62.99 rate for value. I'm wondering if they aren't quoting it also because of MLK weekend. All I can say is to keep calling until you get someone that offers it. Good luck!!

We are going in January too 1/21 - 1/29. Staying AKL savanna view. I would really love free dinning. I want to do the dining plan so a room only discount won't help because I have to do a package. Maybe the will bring back the 7 for 4 deal.

Even a code for room only would be a great help!! Especially since both DS are now too old (15 & 18 !!) But I just don't have the heart to leave them home!

Count us in!! We have booked MYW w/dining and 3 day tix for Jan 6-11th (we are staying the 5th at WLV on our DVC points). The whole package was $1101 which seems high for POP even with dining. Here's hoping!

I think MLK weekend is the 14th through the 16th next year.

We called recently about quotes for that weekend, and the AAA rate for mods was $111 + tax a night.

Just switched our ressie from rack rate to AAA -- saving just under 15% ($1632.36 to $1392.00) for 6 nights in the FW cabins for 3 adults. Better than nuthin! 175 days to go!

POR - $123.77/night - 1/7-15
WL - $194.01/night - 1/15-18

Both are standard rooms. We're getting our first APs too, so hoping for AP rates or better rates in the Best Rate Program.

We are booked for 2/4-2/11 but am thinking about switching to the previous week because of the crowd #s for that first week in February. I'm just worried about the weather. It's been so crazy lately. I'm taking my DF and her 2 DS for the first time and I want it to be special and the weather needs to cooperate!

I am with you all in hoping for some codes/discounts for Jan 2006. Are the discounts usually only on rooms???

We are not sure of our exact dates yet, but will sometime in the 2nd week of Jan for 7 days. I can't wait!!!

Minime: Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Oct 20/21 last year, discounts were released for Jan 2-mid april/05. AP room only and general public room only discounts were released. The savings were substantial.
