discount and don't plan on using the pool parks at all [Jan2-7] can someone figure out if this will save me any money? Or are we still hoping that the official date 11/3 will show room discounts? Thanks.
This sounds similar to the pin code warm and fuzzy that some people had received, doesn't it? Of course, I received the fall one after I had reserved my Jan trip and no pin code for this trip [they must plan it that way! ;o)].

AAA still comes out ahead. In Sept or Oct. when last set of codes released, AAA had a special code that AAA could apply which lowered AAA packages. Sure hope this type of code is released again.

My AAA TA from MidAtlantic AAA on line services was already on lookout for code on Thurs. She been very knowledgable & helpful so far. Just emailed her to let her know of this info but since it was after 6PM when I saw it, I don't expect to hear from her until tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed. If further code applied, I may consider applying the savings to a No Expiration.

Guess I'll give up on any other discounts. I'm going MLK weekend so the original discount is blacked out for me. I was hoping to use the savings towards more MYW ticket days. Oh well, I'll just keep the 3 day tickets I have for now.

I got a good deal with my AAA membership on the room only. Now I have to find the best deal for the tickets. We are meeting my sil who will be down there for a convention. We were hoping to get convention tickets but I guess those are a thing of the past beginning Jan 1st. Since we only want to park hop on one day (we will be in the parks 3 days) I think it will be a better deal to buy a 4 day base than a 3 day park hopper. So many decisions!!! Our trip is only 1 month away now so I am getting pretty excited.

Why don't you change your room only to a package and take advantage of the free park hopper plus option they are giving? That way you can do 3 or 4 and get the park hopping without having to pay extra for it. That is what we did, plus dining though.

No smokin' discounts BUT... got my Triple A room-only 15%, some pretty good air-fares, Magical Express (last trip we spent more than $100 for Limo Service) soooo...We're going to DISNEYWORLD!!!!!
We'll be bringing our own soda & beer, cook a few more meals in the cabin's kitchen, and try to max out the freebies, and you know what -- IT WILL STILL BE GREAT!

Karla I don't think you can use a base ticket to "hop" by using 2 tickets in one day. I may be wrong but I think the ticket will come up as already used for that day. The parkhopper is included in the newest package discount so that may help you a little.

Well, thanks for the info. We can't use the new package deal because we will be there on the dreaded blackout dates during the presidents day weekend. : ( I guess I will have to figure something else out or skip Animal Kingdom this trip.
