Jan 2-9 2014- VWL @ 7months?

I am planning 3 trips in the same UY, and trying to budget points correctly. The last trip will be January 2-9, 2014. When do people start to leave after New Year's? Are my chances good of getting VWL @ 7 months for all of these days?

I really appreciate any help. It's almost time to book the 2nd trip and I want to leave enough points available for VWL if it's a good possibility. Thanks in advance for any thoughts and opinions!

In 2014 New Years falls on a Wednesday. It wouldn't surprise me if people didn't head home til Saturday the 4th or sunday the 5th. I wouldn't count on getting VWL.

I agree with this post. We have found that mid-week holidays usually mean people hang around until the next weekend.
