Jan 19, 2015 Disney Dream 4 Night

This is our third cruise with Disney, but we have not used the new Oceaneer bands for the kids. I am fairly certain that the bands do have a GPS locator in them though.

bmstachura what are you and your husbands names? It is late for FE stuff and we didn't end up with enough people in this group who wanted to do it to really run one. However it is very fun especially for the kids, so if you're up for getting together a fish extender pocket(s) I will put some things in it and I'm sure some other people here would too.

My name is Beth and my husband is Matt

I am confused. How many of us are in for the FE?

We are in Room 6502 and 6504. Beth, Matt, Maddison (11) Mia and Abby (9) and Sam (8) This is Sam's Make A Wish Trip. We have main dining and Yes we are drinkers ;) Did I miss anything?

Great Beth, looks like we are 5 families now. There was a sudden surge over the last few days so we were able to do a last minute FE after all. I'll update the list tomorrow when I'm not working off my phone.

Hi! I haven't been checking this post lately because I thought it was cancelled, but we could still participate in the FE if possible. I did make some gifts (for the girls and families) and still have some extras that I could pass out. I also have some extra cheesy gifts for the boys - boys are so much harder to create something for. Our info again...DM is Mary, DD is Spencer and DS is Wyndell (age 6). We are in room 7658. And we are drinkers too - gosh it does sound bad when you type it out. Hee, hee! I can't wait!!

Ok, gang. Here's were we are with the FEE:

Cheryl, Tony, Izzy(12 girl) and Lily (girl turning 10 on trip) we are stateroom 6108

Danielle and Brad, Pierce (8) and Harper (almost 5 Girl), Granmie and Papa Jim room 6048

Fawn and Craig, plus Carina (8 Girl) and Callen (6 Boy) room 7069.

(Fawn & Craig's) Papa and Mimi room 12526. It is Papa's 60th Birthday!

Beth, Matt, Maddison (11) Mia and Abby (9) and Sam (8) room 6502 and 6504. This is Sam's Make A Wish Trip

Mary, Spencer and Wyndell (age 6) in room 7658

For the sake of all our sanities, I'm going to say that this group is now complete and closed. I'm going in the morning on my last shopping trip before we leave, so I can't add any more FEE friends! I'm excited to exchange with all of you!!

Fawn

Sounds good! Thanks for closing it Fawn. I agree this is enough people and were out of time! :scared1:

Looks great. Thanks for updating it Dawn. See you all on the ship!! Oh and Danielle I would love to meet for a drink, anyone here thinking of doing any of the "tastings" they offer? On a longer one I had done the margarita or tequila "class" and it was awesome but my hubby doesn't drink and I hate to go alone...

Cheryl I really want to do the mixology class because from what I have read it sounds the most fun. Do you know if there are different times for these things or just one per cruise? It would be fun to do it together!

From looking at a set of navigators from Feb of last year it looked like Mixology was offered on the Sea day at 2 and 4 and on Nassau day at 2 and 4. Why don't we pick either Nassau day or Sea day and then earlier or later? We'll sign up separately when we board, so lets say for example we decide now on Nassau day later time then we go and sign up for the later time on Nassau day (I say later time because if they change the times to 1 and 3 or 2 and 5 or whatever) What do you think? Am I making any sense? Others are certainly welcome to join.

Yup that makes sense! We aren't getting off the boat at Nassau so I am ok with either day. I just don't want to be late for dinner - we have the early seating. It being our first cruise I don't want to miss any of the restaurants.

We are getting off the ship in Nassau and I'm not sure if we'll be back for a 2:00 one so how about we do the early Sea day one?

Perfect. Looking forward to it!
I just realized that we will have 2 nights at one of the same restaurants but I guess we don't have any way to tell what night that is until we get there.

Its true you don't get your dining rotation until you get there but this being your first cruise you don't want to miss any nights anyway, there is a different menu each night. The duplicate night is Pirate night so the servers are dressed in Pirate style costumes instead of the costumes that go with that restaurant and the menu is a special pirate night menu. If your kids are into pirates and you have any pirate costume stuff laying around bring it, lots of people dress up that night.

For the mixology we will each get the tickets on our own (check the navigator they give you when you get on the ship and on the first page it should tell you where to go for beverage seminar tickets) for the earlier mixology class offered on sea day and then why don't we show up outside of the location of the class about 5 minutes before it starts to meet up so we can sit together without trying to figure out which one we are :)

Anyone else on this thread, the more the merrier, just sign up on your own and meet us outside the doors before it starts.

We are first timers sailing on the Dream Jan 19th! So excited! Myself, husband, twins that are almost 12 and four year old. Looking to see what is involved and how to become a part of the fish extender group. Just learned about this today :wave2:

Hi! Just wanted to jump back in here and say thanks to those of you who jumped in on the last-minute FEE. You all had great gifts, and we loved getting surprises throughout our cruise!

Hope everyone had a great cruise!

Cheers,
Fawn

The gifts were great thanks! Danielle thanks for meeting me at Mixology, it was so fun!:thumbsup2
