My family would like to join a fish extender group - is it too late ?

I'm not on FB is there any way we can join the FEE? We are in cabin 9547, mom, dad, Faith 12, Madison 11, celebrating Faith's 13th birthday. I would love to join but like I said not on FB. My kids saw it on the last cruise and I had no idea what it was or how to join.

With the new policy in place for FB and FEEs I think we can start our own on the DISboard. Maybe a few more will join... If not we can be a group of two and do "prizes" each day.

We are late in the game for the FE program on FB as well. Have you both already completed your shopping OR is there room for one more family? This is our first Disney cruise.
We are #6146 with Me, Dad, and boys Aiden, 11 and Nolan, 8. Aiden loves anything Chewbacca and Nolan loves Disney and BB8 (Star Wars as well).
What are your girls interested in?

Hi everyone! We're VERY late in responding to this thread, since we booked this cruise on board last January, but I've had some health issues this year and honestly had put the cruise at the back of my mind. In past cruises (this will be mine and my boyfriend's ninth Disney cruise, and the kids' seventh- my daughter, 11, and his son, 14), I've always been in charge of the Fish Extender exchange. Just in the last couple of weeks John's asked if we're participating and I'm like what???? Seriously, that's how crazy my life has been! So, if there are any last minute people interested in exchanging FE gifts we're game. If not, no biggie

Anyway, a little about us. It will be me, Michelle, 42, my boyfriend John, 52, my daughter Emily, 11 and John's youngest son Bryan, 14. We live about 45 minutes from the port close to UCF, so that's a plus. I moved here from Alabama in 2012, and can say it's so much nicer to not have to worry about flying or a long drive. Plus, many Sundays we go to the Port to have brunch just to watch the ship leave.

This will be my daughter's first year to possibly go to the Edge (since she's 11, we have the choice of either the Oceaneer's Club/Lab or the Edge). She's dying to go to the Edge and come and go as she pleases, but I'm not sure how I feel about that. If anyone has any kids her age who will also be going to the Edge, just let me know. I'd feel better if she knew someone. The 14 year old is going to the Vibe, and as it turns out, one of his classmates and his family is going last minute, so he's super excited! I'll try and post a pic from our last cruise so that you know who we are. Can't wait!

My oldest is 11. Although he did go to the tween club on the Carnival last spring break, Im not sure how/if he'd be interested in the Edge at all. He has Asperger's so his social skills (and desire to socialize) are lacking.
We are willing to do the FE program with you -- not sure when we should cut off the deadline to join/add anyone else? Maybe this coming Friday Jan 8th? That will give me/us one last weekend to shop. We're traveling from Columbia SC and will arrive Thursday into town. What is your room number?

If you are interested in participating in this "Goofy FE" list, please reply here and I will organize it. If your children have particular interests or favored characters, please specify. We will cut off this list at noon EST on Friday, Jan 8th. I will publish all names (with any specified interests) and room numbers on Friday afternoon.

Just the fact that she knows someone is her age, etc, makes her much happier Anyway, we're happy to do the FE exchange with you! Is he your only child, and what is he into? I'm used to exchanging with 20+ cabins, but with fewer it makes it easier to bring more specific items ☺ I'll ask my boyfriend what our stateroom number is when he gets home and will post it!

He knew what it was and was excited. He surprised me by saying he thinks he might go there to check it out. He is really looking forward to the Club because of the new Star Wars makeover.
