I think Brunch is only on Days at Sea. Here's what I found for the first sea day:

Day 2 - Sun, Aug 31
Palo Brunch ($25): 10:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm
Remy Champagne Brunch ($50): 11:30 am, 11:50 am, 12:10 pm, 12:30 pm

We loved staying at AK in 2009. What fun!

I don't know if you've already called to request a specific dining rotation. To easily catch both shows at Animator's Palate, pick the dining rotation that starts with Animator's Palate. If you start at Enchanted Garden, you will miss Animator's Palate when you are dining at Remy. If you start at Royal Court, I don't know if you'll miss Animator's Palate when you are at Palo for dinner. This rotaion goes to AP a third time. I'd think they do the show the third night since the second night is Pirate Night. If that's the case, this rotation would work just fine.

The exception to all this would be if you picked Remy / Palo dining times that allows you to attend your regular dinner also and likely you'd skip stage show.

You can look below and see how I came up with this info:

When you call for the rotational dining request, I'd explain to the the Disney agent that you don't want to miss Animator's Palate, just in case something has changed with the rotation schedule.

Now you have me thinking. I'd better check the reservations I made and see if I can figure out how to catch the AP shows !

I just went into the excursions. The available times for the GC Island Tour are shown as follows:

• 10:45 am - 12:45 pm
• 1:45 pm - 3:45 pm
• 2:15 pm - 4:15 pm

I show we're in Grand Cayman from 10:30 -5:30. There are certainly enough hours in port to do something before or after if you pick the right excursion time. I expect they have a steady flow of cabs to pick up at the beaches, but I don't know. If it was me, I'd hit the beach first just to be safe. It would be better to miss the excursion than miss the boat.

While you're with Disney arranged Port Adventures you know you'll catch the ship
•If an excursion runs late, the ship will remain in port or we'll arrange transportation to the next port of call at no expense to you. Independently booked tours require you to rejoin the ship at the next port of call—and pay all flight and hotel costs.

I see you have a teanager too! Have your DS13 check out KIDS ONLY - Aug 30 2014 ~ Fantasy ~ 7-Night Western[/URL]. My DD13 Sabrina and lot of other tween and teens are becoming DISfriends. It works out great for the DISkids to already have friends to meet up with at the Edge/Vibe.

You're all set up for the FE. I put you on the Donald FE for now. If you prefer, you can be the first family on the new Goofy FE.
The Donald FE is closing (it's big enough and folks want to get going on making/ordering their gifts). We're just starting the Goofy FE for those that join us in the next month or two. Let me know today or tomorrow. I'm trying to wrap up the Donald FE and get the spreadsheet out to everyone.

You can set up the DIS so email notifications are sent if there is a post to individual Subscribed Threads (instantly, weekly, etc). I don't know a way to be notified if a post is directed to someone specific. I think you can set up notifications for PMs. DIS is my frist stop when I jump on the laptop, so I usually see the posts before I see the email. If it's betweeen cruises the emails help

Thanks to you I got off the couch and called DCL this morning. I hadn't worried about a dining rotation because both our adult dining reservations are after Day 3. I didn't know there were two AP shows on Fantasy until I started doing research for you. On Dream/Wonder there have always just been one "show" night on the first visit to AP. Now we're all straightened out. I also moved to 2nd seating. Not sure why were were on first. We always do late dinner

I was able to set it where I am notified of posts which is great. I haven't been able to have the thread as a focus as if yet. It's been very informative.

On the 7 day cruise for the dining portion we will be seated with another family or families? I know my cruise was this way, our second we everyone had their own table. I that is the case I would love to try and do the same have a family with children of similar ages.

Sorry that I am so late to the party. But I just joined this thread tonight. Can you believe our cruise is on 88 days away. Soooo excited.

My family is from New Jersey and it will be me DH(Joe) DW(Kathy) DD(Erin-13) DD(Kara-9) and DD(Ava-7)

This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise. We sailed out of N.Y.C. on the Magic in June 2012. I've been hoping that Disney will come back to the New York port. But in the meantime we'll cruise out of FL this time.

With a family of 5 I could see it going either way. You can request a table size. Just call DCL and let them know that you request to be seated with another family. It's been my experiendce they try to match kids ages. When I called Sunday, they asked me what table size I prefered. I requested a table of 6, 8 or 10 (do they go that big?).
I bet you could guess... we love meeting new friends.

I wanted to post this here for those who aren't on the Facebook group. I am organizing a private mixology class. Here are more details:

It will be $15 dollars pp, charged to your stateroom, they will most likely schedule it for one of the sea days but we won't know the exact day or time until a few weeks before the sailing. We can however request a preferred time. To set it up I need the Names and Stateroom # of each person who wants to do it. If you are on GTY and don't have one yet, your reservation # will do instead. So if this sounds like something you want to do message me the names and stateroom numbers for those in your party attending as well as preferred time (morning or afternoon) and preferred sea day (1st or 2nd).
