I am pasting my review of room 7071 below. We had connecting rooms 7069 and 7071, which were identical. Excellent room. Slept 4 - Myself, husband, and 2 daughters (19 & 13). My 19 year old opted for the drop down bed as she was accustomed to a lofted bed in her College dorm room. The room was small, but we knew that going in and had no complaints about it. It worked out absolutely great. Our stateroom hostess was fabulous! The room was ALWAYS neat and tidy. We brought a shoe organizer and hung it on the outside of the bathroom door to keep all our "stuff" in (sunscreen, medicines, hand sanitizers, band-aids, q-tips, nail stuff, hair stuff, cameras, pencils and paper, etc.). We brought magnets because the connecting door is metal and makes a great place to stick the Navigators, excursion tickets, notes, etc. My 19 year old used the hollow coffee table to store all her bags of makeup, lotions, shampoos, hair straightener, and other paraphernalia. THAT was perfect. It was COMPLETELY SILENT. Another daughter and friend had the connecting room - 1069. We could never tell if they were in the room or not. (Still don't know if there was anybody in the room on the other side of us, either.) Never heard any sounds from the hallway. The Magical Porthole was fantastic... honestly looked like a window view of the approaching islands, etc. Elevators were just a short skip down the hall - very short skip. We usually took the stairs, though. Four short flights up to the pools and four or five short flights down to restaurants. Never felt any motion even though we were on the 7th deck (I guess because this ship is so much larger then the Magic or Wonder). The room is close to the center of the ship from front to back. Loved that the rooms were in a "private" hallway. Never ran into anybody using the hallway to cross-over (I assume they just walked the short bit further down to the elevator hall). If we get to sail on the Fantasy again, we will definitely take these rooms.

Lise: We have had such a good response to the FE exchange on our cruise. What do you think about a third FE group? If it is too much work I would be willing to help. (I too am a huge fan of spreadsheets and lists!) I feel a little bad knowing that we are still 3 months out and that last minute cruisers may not be able to join. We could set the parameter that it will go from June 1- July 30 and let let those joining know it may be a smaller group. Just a thought.

I think we can close May 30. Would you be opposed to having a third FE group (Goofy) for last minute adds? We would just have to let them know it would probably be a smaller group and it could close 3-4 weeks out.

Beth - I love your idea. I know I started a reply. I remember grabbing the :goofy: ... oops :confused3

Starting a :goofy: Goofy FE sounds great to me. The :donald: Donald FE is a good size already. I've got a mega spread sheet with everyone. It's easy to just add another page.
I'm thinking if the :goofy: Goofy FE is too small, I'd be happy to join it also. As we hit the cut off maybe a few other folks will want to double-dip :cool1: :cool1:

Anyone a higher castway then silver? Was wondering how booking Remey and Palo meals are looking. What other fun things are there to book besides excursions?

We turned Gold this cruise. :cool1:

Remy and Palo had plenty of options when I was playing last night. Palo - Dinner and Brunch. Remy - Dinner, Brunch and Dessert (I didn't know Dessert was an option). From what I read, you can pre book 1 Remy, 2 Palo (1 Dinner + 1 Brunch). It worked :)

Other things to book are Spa & Fitness and On Board Fun (Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Simulators - Golf, Sport). I'm not sure how to book the "Chill Spa" for teen services.

The experience will feature a 5-course dessert menu, coffee and an in-depth discussion with the Executive Chef and Executive Pastry Chef of Remy. As each dessert is presented, they’ll explain the history and evolution of the dessert. The Remy dessert experience is $50.00 per person. Thanks for helping me get it straight

Yes... we'll look at it later :thumbsup2.

Who knows the :goofy: Goofy FE might be giant. We were worried about doing two FEs and look how it turned out. The :donald: Donald FE is bigger than the :mickeyjum Mickey FE.

I figure if the :goofy: Goofy FE group is tiny when we get close to crusie time, we can find a few people from Mikey and Donald who what to double-dip. :flower3:

Give me a date to check and I will

Want to see times for Monday and Wednesday dinner and any Palo brunches?
Thanks!!!

:beach: I think the Cozumel Beach Break would be good for Sophia. We did it when Sabrina was 3 (2004). From what I see, they've added a waterpark with a zero entry pool that looks to have good options for little ones (and wild options for big ones). Pool, sand and beach are a good, flexible fit for kiddos. (Infants are free)

A few years back we did Grand Cayman Island Tour, a multi-stop tour that included a visit to the Turtle Farm. We enjoyed it, so this time I think we'll do the full excursion at Boatswain's Adventure Marine Park and touch the turtles, watch the sharks, tropical fish, swim in the lagoon and play. I think that would be good for you and Sophia, too. (Infants are free on both of these.)

When you did the GC Island Tour, would you have had time before/after to take a cab to 7 mile beach for a couple hours?

When you did the GC Island Tour, would you have had time before/after to take a cab to 7 mile beach for a couple hours?

I just went into the excursions. The available times for the GC Island Tour are shown as follows:
  • 10:45 am - 12:45 pm
  • 1:45 pm - 3:45 pm
  • 2:15 pm - 4:15 pm
I show we're in Grand Cayman from 10:30 -5:30. There are certainly enough hours in port to do something before or after if you pick the right excursion time. I expect they have a steady flow of cabs to pick up at the beaches, but I don't know. If it was me, I'd hit the beach first just to be safe. It would be better to miss the excursion than miss the boat. :boat:

While you're with Disney arranged Port Adventures you know you'll catch the ship :cool1:
•If an excursion runs late, the ship will remain in port or we'll arrange transportation to the next port of call at no expense to you. Independently booked tours require you to rejoin the ship at the next port of call—and pay all flight and hotel costs.

Are you cruising with us on Aug 30 Fantasy? I'll add you to our cruisers list.
