We did also can't remember the hurricane but it was also first week of sept in 2004 maybe we want on the same cruise. My mother-in-law threw up when she was getting a massage. It was the first time ever we felt the boat rock.

Your poor MIL. That's terrible. Our first Hurricane cruise was Disney Magic 9/4/04. We sat at WDW for a few days waiting for the storm to pass over and Magic to get back. Port Canaveral was in need of TLC, so they ended up docking in Fort Lauderdale and we were taken via bus. It was supposed to be a 7-day Eastern but became a 4-day Western. We went to Cozumel. Castaway Cay was not "ready for company" due to the Hurricane, so no stop there.

So were you on the same cruise? It was our 10th Anniversary. Weddyoconnor was aboard as well.... for their honeymoon . We figured that out when she joined this thread. Wonder if we'll recognize each other?

No we went sept 1 but it was a 5 day cruise from magic we were Supposed to have two castaway cay days but it was changed to just one day. We did a the WDW hurricane in 2004 and like you fell in love with DCL anyway. Our DCL course was changed again in 2005 due to Hurricane Rita. We skipped your hurricane cruise in 2008.

I caught a small hurricane in WDW in Oct. 2005 I think. It closed AK for a day, but I wasn't prepared for the cold front. I went to the MNSSHP and my costume too simple for the weather.

Our bedroom has a painted Stitch above the bed along with a Yoda Stitch Sketch next to the closet & some old mickey limited edition cells.

I need to still unpack my Disney kitchen stuff and get us 100% settled in the new place.

Hi welcome to our group, your going to love it!!! I went on other cruise lines but there is nothing like Disney. I also have an older daughter she will be 15 on the cruise. She turns 16 after the cruise. Wow twins teens how do u do it?
