James and Jeffrey PJ - 05/10/11 - SBP/Attic/UK DP/Wedding Day 2 Arrival

I love choice 1 also. :goodvibes The Circle of Life is great for parents and there's no way that the boys coming in to "A Pirate's Life for Me" won't make smiles a mile wide!!!:yay:

I think "Someday My Prince Will Come" is more than appropriate and I dare you to keep a dry eye during that one either.........

Jeff liked selection #1 so that is what we went with. That is fine with me since I chose both anyway LOL. I think it makes him feel like he FINALLY got to choose something. Up until now I have made every choice. I am not certain Jeff or I are the teary type... but we shall see.

While most DIS brides are figuring out their honeymoon, Jeff and I are thinking about getting a baby sitter for a few hours LOL. On top of the boys ,it is not final, it looks like we are going to be able to bring our smallest houseguest to Disney. It is looking good though. She will be almost five months when we go. I want to make her my flowergirl but not sure if I have enough time to get the stuff needed. Now this news is a double edged sword since we are lucky enough to take her to Walt Disney World, it is going to make it awful hard to give her back when the time comes. We talked about, and we chould have let her go to another home for the vacation, but we decided that there was no way either one of us could go almost two weeks without seeing Boo (our nickname for her). If we had to leave her I knew whatever home she stayed at was going to have to have a webcam so we could see and talk to her. Boo has been with us since the hospital and we have taken care of her like she is our own. Our love for her is as strong as the boys. This was going to be the first trip that the boys were going to big enough to go on most of the rides and we were not going to have to do a baby swap. Now we know that having an infant is going to limit many of the things we can do and there is not going to be a honeymoon night (not that that was really going to happen) and our romantic dinner at JIKO is no longer so romantic LOL. Jeff and I know if we left her behind though we would both be wishing Boo was with us, and there would be a cloud over our celebrations. Now we get to take her to It's a Small World and buy her first mouse ears, and get her picture taken with all the princesses (and mine too :lmao:)

We all know the wishing well worked once, so I am sure we will be visiting it everyday making a wish that Boo will become a forever part of our family. All it takes is faith, trust, and some pixie dust :tink:

Hi I'm a long time lurker  but I just had to come out of lurkdom to send you some faith, hope and pixie dust :tink: I hope you get to keep your Boo. Such a great thing your doing. I wish we had the room to foster and maybe one day be a childs forever home

Loving all your wedding plans and can't wait to see the photos :surfweb:

Sounds like Boo couldn't be more loved anywhere else she ends up. Lots of pixie dust that she becomes yours forever. :)

That's great that Boo may be able to come with you. I know that you don't need the passport that we would to travel to WDW with our foster kids, but, I know that visitation schedules and such can still make vacations very difficult.

It's nice that she has been with you for so long and that you will be able to share Disney with her even if it means more Rider Swaps. I would definitely consider adding a babysitter to your plans even if only for a few hours.

Hi there,

I too am a lurker and am throughly enjoying your adventures. your sense of humour and writing style is making me LOL [ which is not good cause its 4.56 am here in australia and DH is asleep in next room]...and I dont want to wake my sleeping beauty:love:

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage, and you too can consider yourself blessed that you were one of the lucky ones to find your soul mate. Welcome to the club:wizard:

That would be so wonderful if you could take her with you. maybe you could take her for her first haircut at the barbershop - although it would be the smallest of haircuts!

I really do hope your plans work out for you and you have the most magical time as a family

Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind wishes. I will be going back and thanking everyone individually tomorrow. The kids have been on spring break and home all week and I am just wiped out. I did manage to get one craft project done and I did not burn myself. Yahoo! These are for the boys to wear in the park one day and Jeff and I have matching Groom shirts.

Dearest James - I will be praying that little Boo becomes a permanant part of your family. She couldn't be placed in a more loving home. I know that, whatever the long-term outcome, precious memories will be made with her on this most special of trips!!!
Much love (and heaps of pixiedust) to you all

Ok, I had a very sappy moment and actually got teary eyed about Boo. How sweet that you are able to bring her along with you guys. I truly hope that Boo becomes an 'official' part of the family soon. I have to agree with Joanne's comment about being placed in a more loving home.

Love the t-shirts for the little guys. Did you make one for Boo too since she's now coming?

So wonderful to hear about your hopeful new addition to your family!!! Seems like you give your kids wonderful love and attention!!

I love the shirts! So cute, they will make for some great pictures in the parks!! :goodvibes

Well thank you, we are lucky to have a house full of kids. It is going to be fun to take them into the park with their shirts on. We can not wait.

Just a quick update. Ms. Boo decided to go to bed late last night and we were up early today so I have been out of it. I am sure my spelling will reflect it tonight. So been in contact with Disney and trying to get Mickey apples, but the markup is almost five dollars if the florist get them. The question is do I feel like going to downtown Disney and bringing them to rehersal. I am thinking we just might let Disney take care of it so we can enjoy our trip. Working with Shelley and Amanda from Impressions and trying to get napkins and programs done in time. Have Boos dress in the shopping bag online and have to pay for it as soon as I am done typing this. Still trying to get the boys ties. The ones available are just so ugly. Going to be another rush. We are thinking about adding an actual cocktail to the cocktail hour. It looks like we might have a touch of extra money so what the heck. And finallIy for tonights update. I picked up some extra items for the welcome bag. Only a few days left and I have to stop. LOL. Wish me luck that we can get it done.

Just want to send Best Wishes your way, hope you day is everything you dreamed of. I have 6 Grandsons who will be at my Daughter's wedding and I couldn't help but smile when I read your boys will walk in to Pirate's Life for Me. pixiedust:

Thanks so much. The funny things is until recently I never dreamed that any of this would happen. Growing up gay in the 80's and 90's things such as getting married and having children were impossible. It has been amazing to see things I never thought possible becoming possible. I am lucky beyond my wildest dreams. Having a wedding with our children at Disney World tells me there truly is pixie-dust in the world. Having all of the wonderful people on the Dis boards has even made it an even more magical experience. Thanks all of you who have treated our wedding like all others. You are truly kind and wonderful people.

You are the sweetest thing!!! Your lovely words made me tear up!!!

James you are so lovely. I wish you lots of pixie dust and wonderful sunshine for your special day
