Rings are bought and paid for. It was such an odd feeling to see them that I forgot to take a picture. Let me describem them though. They are gold and round. If you are having trouble picturing what they look like I will post a pic soon. They are getting engraved and will be ready to pick up next week.

violentmesses I am in agreement with you. I do believe so far that those are the best combinations. However, the money was taken out of the account, so the perfect tie maybe on its way. I am keeping my fingers crossed. We also purchased both of our suits this weekend. We went way underbudget on them so I am happy.They are just mens suits so did not post a pic of them. They are a bit blah, compared to wedding dresses. If only my dream of becoming a drag queen had come true, I would have had something fierce to post. Oh well.
Have a ton of stuff half done and looking to get them finished in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for reading and hope it has not become to boring.

Thanks so much. The funny things is until recently I never dreamed that any of this would happen. Growing up gay in the 80's and 90's things such as getting married and having children were impossible. It has been amazing to see things I never thought possible becoming possible. I am lucky beyond my wildest dreams. Having a wedding with our children at Disney World tells me there truly is pixie-dust in the world. Having all of the wonderful people on the Dis boards has even made it an even more magical experience. Thanks all of you who have treated our wedding like all others. You are truly kind and wonderful people.

Early Congrats on Saturday's ceremony! How awesome, you guys will have two different anniversaries - tell Jeffrey yes he does have to celebrate both!!

I wanted to comment on what you said before. Your wedding is just like all the others - two people who love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together. This may sound corny but I don't care if a person is pink, purple, or green, we all put our pants on the same way and I wish so many other people out there could see things that way. I am so glad that your Disney Wedding has reassured you that all your dreams can come true.

It is time for the last minute dash to get everything done, I have been getting everything expressed shipped like mad. Boys ties came in and we got a dress for the baby today. Suits are out to be altered. I have to see what one fits the best and decide what one I am going to wear. Gable boxes for the dessert party are getting done tonight. Programs and napkins are at the printers and last favors for the welcome bag should be finished tonight. Still have to decide what we are going to put our favors in for the desssert party????????????? Here is a picture of Boo's dress. It is just so cute.

Today Jeff and I will get legally married (in the too few state that honor it). However, today my worst fear came true. This morning at 1:15 next to my side of the bed I awoke to crying and then the wretching sound of a six year old throwing up. A stomach virus has entered our house I am only hoping it will push its way through the house ubber quick and be gone well before we leave for Disney. He seems to be doing ok and we heading to CT. Come HELL or HIGH WATER we are getting married. I have waited eight years and given him three kids. It is time LOL.

I've been following along but I'm not sure that I have posted here yet. Congrats on your ceremony today! In my experience, stomach viruses don't tend to linger longer than 24-48 hours. Also, I really admire all you do for your children and hope that Boo will officially become part of your family.

We just sent away for our marriage license... It seems kind of weird to do it by mail order...

Gatorade and matzo crackers are a quick cure for tummy viruses! (I'm a teacher, and we always have both on hand!)

We used the rings for the CT ceremony they are on. We will be cleaning them before we go and getting Randy to take photographs

Oh the suit issue. I bought one suit and had the back pulled in and now it looks like ducktails. I have an older Emporio Armani suit that I love but pants were to small. I had them taken out but need a bit more, or just not eat for the rest of the week. Have to get them done again on Tues. Hoping she can do it. Have to see what one I will be wearing LOL.

I can't wait for the Disney wedding. The ceremony was short, sweet, and simple and over in five minutes. Still was a blur. It was good practice for Disney though.

I wish we could have sent for our license. We had to drive two hours to get it in the town we were getting married in and then drive home. Then had to drive back on Saturday to get married. We had a relative marry us, so it was well worth the extra effort. Still by mail would have been nice.

I am so going to rememeber your cure for the stomach bug. Thankfully no one has come down with it yet. We are still knocking on wood though that it has passed. LOL. There are still three days of school though for them so who knows what they are going to get.



So sorry for the long comments. We have just been trying to tie up loose ends before we leave on Wednesday. I am so far behind.
