James and Jeffrey PJ - 05/10/11 - SBP/Attic/UK DP/Wedding Day 2 Arrival

Dearest James - I still read and I am not at all bored!!! I do not always post but will make a concerted effort to post more often so as you know I am still interested!! Don't let it die. You are so close now and it would be such a shame to give up on it at this late stage!!!

No, don't do that. We want to see how everything turns out. Pictures, pictures, pictures! ..........please.:thumbsup2

Hey as long as two people are interested I will continue  It was just stress from the wedding and my sister and I had a row (did I ust the correct UK terminology Joanne?) I am back and happy as ever though about the wedding.

I do not even think people are reading this thing anymore. I am afraid it has gotten boring and to little information for people. Thinking I just might let this thread die.

Hi! I have never posted on your thread, but I just wanted to let you know that I read it! I love it and I can't wait to see how the big day turns out! I love all your plans! If you don't mind me asking how much are the fans costing. I want to make some but I think I will get all frustrated.

Wow, yes you are correct, but I didn't realize that 'row' was not used in the US!!! I guess you guys use the term 'fight', more. Here, 'row' tends to mean that you had a 'heated exchange of opinions', whereas fight seems to indicate something a bit more physical!!!

It's getting really close now! It must be VERY stressful. I can't imagine having to pull all of this together for a wedding on top of a vacation.:headache:

I'm sure everything will turn out fine and sometimes it's the little things that do go wrong that actually turn out to be the best memories. :goodvibes

At the end of the day, you'll be married and have wonderful memories with the boys as well.

I have been brushing up on my UK terminology. My best friend married a man from the UK andI need an interpretor sometimes.

Thank you for posting. I am guessing the Mickey fans could be done with a Cricut... but trying to get them cut and printed correctly and looking good are just out my league. There are a couple of options that change the price. You can buy them and put them together yourself or have Shelley do it and have the ribbon added. I believe the cost is 350+ for 25. Shelly will do less than if you need though. I just dont have the time and going to have her do them. We got income tax back this weekend so I can put them back in. :goodvibes

So glad we chose Disney Fairy Tale wedding. If this is stress can you imagine what it would be like if Disney and Diane were not there to do most of the work. Less than 20 days until we head off to Disney. Let me tell you to cut down on the stress I have opted to use Etsy and Impressions to help me finish the few details we have left. As we learned from earlier experiences I am NOT crafty and I have decided to leave it to the experts. :goodvibes Thanks so much for the support everyone.

I can't believe it's so close now! I'm still reading and loving the details...I think from a stress angle using impressions and etsy to help with the details is a great idea! I suspect I'll be doing the same when my time comes! I love all the great d.i.y projects but logistically?not easy to find the time!
Can't wait to hear all about your trip-hopefully mutiny will be avoided!

I love reading your Plans. You are getting married on my Birthday and I won't be there to help you celebrate. :scared1::confused3 But loving your planning. :thumbsup2

20 or so more days for Joanne & I to meet you - yay!!

Yay!!! Can't wait!!! Having the opportunity to meet two dear Disfriends will make my VR trip even more special!!!

Not long now. Where has the time gone? Can't wait to meet you both.

Getting close. Rings have been engraved and finally picked up, Order into etsy, and payment into Disney. However, the list never really seems to go down any. Still waiting on the perfect tie. We shall see.

I got my work schedule on Friday and was excited to see I only worked a few days. GREAT, I can get a ton of wedding stuff. WRONG! I forgot I had taken the week because everyone is on Spring Break and there is no school. I now have to try get things done with 5 kids home. There are some long nights ahead for me.
So here are some possible song choices for the wedding. They are going to be all Disney choices. If I didn't want Disney featured in the wedding I would have just stayed home.

Choice 1- More jaunty and gay

Prelude - Disney and Disney love songs.

Parents entrance- Cirlcle of Life

Bridal party- Bibbidi-Bobbidy-Boo

Boys- (yo-ho) A Pirates Life

Our entrance- Someday my Prince Will Come

Recessional- Zip-A-Doo-Da

Choice 2- Still Disney, but more classic

Prelude Still Disney and Disney love songs

Parents entrance-Dream is Wish Your Heart Makes

Bridal party- When You Wish Upon A Star

Boys-You'll Be In My Heart

Our entrance-If I Never Knew You.

Recessional- Zip-A - Doo-Da

I really love both sets of song choices. We also went with all Disney songs for the aisle and don't regret it one bit!

When I read the first choices I think they made me feel the giddiest, they are just fun and feel good! :goodvibes

The second choices are really romantic and sweet. :cloud9:

You can't go wrong with either...I know that doesn't help much though, lololol.

I vote for the 2nd set, but that might be because we are using 2 of the same songs!

I very rarely post in your thread but I have been avidly following along with all your plans and stresses. I think your doing a marvellous job with everything:goodvibes

I love both of your song options but option 2 seems more emotional to me. I guess it depends what tone you are going for. Everytime I hear You'll be in my heart, I end up in floods of tears! You might have a sobbing congregation by the time you come down the aisle:goodvibes

I agree the second choice are more classic and romantic. However, Jeff is not LOL. I think he is leaning towards choice 1

What songs did you choose?

Thanks for writing. I have been following your plans also and have not written either, but your plans are looking great also. I agree about "You'll Be In My Heart" bringing tear to all around. However that is because everytime I hear it something inside me requires me to Belt out like Whitney Houston. Hence, bringing tears to all around me. So maybe not such a good choice.

I think choice 1 is just perfect! I love the idea of the kids walking down to A Pirate's Life...I think everybody will love it!

We used He's a Pirate for the entrance of DH and then my son (who was Best Man) following him. It sounded really great.

I also just love that you would walk down to Some Day My Prince Will Come. I almost chose this for DH to walk down to.

The Circle of Life is one of my favorite songs and so appropriate for the parents.

I love song list 1 because it is so creative! It sounds like it fits your personalities more. Don't worry about not being "classic" - if it's your first pick, go with it! :goodvibes
