How is transportation from Jambo House to Kidani Village? We plan to eat at Sanaa with my sister who is wheelchair bound. Wondering what is easiest, boarding an internal shuttle (if they have it?) or just walking/ rolling there.

They do have a shuttle. It's a van. I have no idea whether or not it is wheelchair accessible. The walk between the two buildings is about 10 - 15 minutes.

I would think that it would be but I just wanted to know what to expect from it. Like how often they come around, are we gonna stand there and wait forever? Etc.

They are running frequently. You wouldn’t have a long wait from what I could see. And there’s always someone outside you could speak to if it seems to be taking too long.
It’s also a quick walk- all sidewalks throughout.

Thank you so much! I didn't even think about what the walkways would be like. Is it a pretty walk?

You walk along the building-lots of plants, flowers-the landscaping is beautiful. And really, we’re 62, pretty good shape and thought it a nice walk-especially after eating :)

We were there in October last year, when they first started the service. If I am remembering correctly (and many times I don't), the bus is not HP accessible. Think of the type of bus that rental companies use to pick up from curbside.

It was just one bus that went back and forth. So if you just missed it, it would be back in about 10 minutes.

I'm pretty sure they got a larger more HP accessible van/small bus earlier in the year for this reason.

If she requires accessible transport, I remember reading that most busses go from Kidani to Jambo, but the bus for one destination goes to Jambo then Kidani. If that's the case, someone at the resort should know which bus it is, and the driver would be able to confirm before she boards.

It's a 7-8 minute leisurely walk from front door to front door...mostly through parking lots.

I wouldn’t call the walk between the two ‘scenic’ but it’s not too bad.
Ask when you check in if the shuttle is accessible, I’ve got to believe Disney would recognize the need for that accommodation. The shuttle picks up and drops off by the lobbies unlike the buses which are a short stroll from the lobby at both Jambo and Kidani.
The DTD buses stop at Jambo then Kidani. The park buses stop at Kidani then Jambo. Do verify w/ the driver when you board that he’s stopping where you want to go as occasionally the park buses only pick up at one of the resorts and then head straight to a park w/out going to the second stop and on at least one occasion I’ve been on a bus coming back from a park at night and the driver incorrectly stopped at Jambo before Kidani (I think he was new.)

So when we bus over from Animal Kingdom, Kidani is the first stop? Normally? We will be headed to Sanaa straight from the park.

Yes, the park buses will stop at Kidani first which is where Sanaa is. The drivers usually announce that it’s Kidani as well.

Buses to/from parks stop at Kidani first, then Jambo. Buses to/from Disney Springs stop at Jambo first, then Kidani. That way, there are internal buses in both directions.

but with buses about 20 minutes apart, it's faster to walk and roll.

Truth on those routes, but that's not what's considered the "internal" buses for AKL.

There is a dedicated AKL shuttle that all it does is go from Jambo to Kidani, and back again...all day, every day. It can be caught at either front door no more than every 10 minutes or so. It's very frequent.
