My next "check in" will be (hopefully) with pics and some trippie info....either tomorrow night or Saturday night.

Send pixie dust. 20 hours in a car with 3 kids under 5? Sometimes I wonder about my wifes and my sanity.

Wow that is certainly alot of Disney fans in that photo! I was there from 12/10-16 and the weather was wonderful . Not crowded like that. I cant wait to get the photos done. I have a few nice photos of the AKL decorated. I liked the Christmas tree.

1 more day until AKL honeymoon for us!!! I'm signing off the DIS now and won't return for a bit. Our wedding is tomorrow and we begin our Disney honeymoon on Sunday Be sure to find and follow my trip report!!! Can't wait to experience AKL for myself!!!

....I thought that it was really good...I had read a LOT of negative comments about the revamped ride....the touch-screen at the end WAS a little bit hokey, but I really enjoyed the ride and I loved Judith Dench as the narrator....JMHO

...ooops, I almost forgot....I found out why AKL doens't serve Frunch any more....it was prepared fresh every day, but not always by the same person. Since there was no 'set recipe', sometimes it would taste more 'coconut-y', sometimes more 'pinapple-y', sometimes more 'mango-y', etc. So they decided to have their current breakfast drink (mango, papaya, and orange juices - YUMMY!) made and brought in from 'outside'.....

...ooops, I almost forgot....I found out why AKL doens't serve Frunch any more....it was prepared fresh every day, but not always by the same person. Since there was no 'set recipe', sometimes it would taste more 'coconut-y', sometimes more 'pinapple-y', sometimes more 'mango-y', etc. So they decided to have their current breakfast drink (mango, papaya, and orange juices - YUMMY!) made and brought in from 'outside'.....

I loved that breakfast juice!

ya think?!? Or maybe it was b/c school was out--"ooh, ooh, let's go to WDW for Christmas!" (Ha! Ha!). I'm not sure if you could pay me to go to WDW for Christmas and deal with those crowds. Yet, here I am going President's Day weekend But, hey, our company is footing the bill for the plane tickets, since we have a business trip in Orlando at the end of our long weekend. Gee, should we go only for the business trip, or tack on a few days of Disney first? Hmmm... Disneyworld, here we come! Too bad we couldn't do AKL this time, though--peak rates DD6 asked me tonight if we could stay at AKL again next time we go to Disney--"It's SO beautiful there, and we got to sleep in bunk beds!!!" Sure, sweetheart, as soon as Mommy saves up her money again

...actually, we've been to WDW twice during Prez Week, and I must say that it was wa-a-a-ay more crowded at Christmas than in Feb - don't forget, not everyone gets that week off.....

Any news or pics of the construction at Kidani village? I tried doing satellite pics but the images were all too old to show anything. We are planning on staying in a villa in November and I was hoping that some of the new rooms will be completed as I heard they are way ahead of schedule.
