...we HAVE stayed here before (2 months after 9/11 !! ) and, for a non-Disney resort, you can't beat the location....we definitely WILL be having dinner at AKL, though......

We're leaving for our honeymoon in two hours!!!!!

I'm so tired, but too excited to sleep. My wedding was wonderful, everything I dreamed it would be. I'm hoping Disney will be the same. I'll take lots of pictures and give updates on the construction.

I have a bottle of meds (not prescription) that needs to be refridgerated as soon as I arrive. Is there any way I can give it to someone at the desk so they can refridgerate it for me???????

...absolutely! They will be more than happy to refrigerate your meds....for some reason, if that doesn't work our for you, you can also try Boma or the Mara - they are very accomodating.....

If it were me, I'd put it in a clear zippy bag that closest easily fits it. Put your info on the outside. (With please keep refrigerated) Better for them to see what's in it and how it should be stored.

This is my first stay in a deluxe. Do ya`ll have any input on AKL. We are going to be in standard room. Hoping for an upgrade. From what i have read on other post there seems to been alot of free upgrades being offered at AKL.

....while that was definitely true in the past, it probably isn't likely now, what with all the construction going on.....

Hi, my family arrives at AKL next week and I would like to go ahead a make a room request. We will have a savannah view. What should I request to keep us away from the construction as much as possible?
