Can anyone tell me if the coffee at MARA is good...strong and flavorful??

HAve you considered brewing your own coffee? There is a coffee maker in every room and while the coffee they provide might be debatable (as most Disney coffee seems to be) I would suggest to bring some from home and just make your own. However, you will need to bring filters as well. The great thing is that the space used up for coffee and filters will be available to be filled with souvenirs on the way back!!

I personally didn't care for the Nescafe they served everywhere, but just to note that at Boma, you don't need to order the pressed pot, the African coffee they served was the best I had the whole trip! I could have kept drinking it but my family got up and left me at the table.....

...actually, the BEST 'to-go' coffee that I've ever had at WDW is at the Kona Cafe kiosk right next to the door [to go to the monorail]....OMG!!!!

Hi! Thanks for the good wishes. Unfortuantely the trip is already over, I just haven't got round to delete the count down! But we had a fantastic trip. It really is the most beautiful Park I know and I am sure that you would love it now, it has gotten some cool additions in the last 14 years! It must have been brand new when you visited as it is celebrating its 15th birthday this year!

Yes it was new... and beautiful... well we leave in a few days.... can't wait... I will try and remember to take some photos of the lobby..

Hello Everyone.........I haven't been on much since I got back from AKL in the end of September. It's such a downer getting back into the swing of things, and plus both my sons started college on the same day, had to get "caught up" at work (as if THAT ever happens), and well, you get the picture. But, I wanted to say hello, and to all of you heading to AKL soon......ENJOY! It's SOOOOO great. As it turns out, my older guy just got accepted to the Disney College Program so guess I'll have to go down quite a bit to visit him!

...you need to check in at the concierge desk by 6:45AM. The bus leaves for AK around 7:00-7:10AM. The safari and breakfast is finished by around 9'ish....

leave NOv 16 for 9 nights at AKL. Our first visit I am soo excited!!

...it was kinda weird - we were leaving the safari part of the excursion, heading towards breakfast, and folks were just entering Africa.....of course, they were looking at us wondering where we had already come from....

We are doing MVMCP on NOV 16 and Sunrise Safari NOV 18. Already have ADR at BOMA for Thanksgiving Day JIKO our last night.
