I am really heartsick, I feel like just cancelling everything for everyone.

Louise went to the lawyers and has an affidavit letter of citizenship, it is our only hope that US Customs accepts it tomorrow and lets her board.

This is a nightmare and I should be so excited the night beforeour trip but I feel like total crap.

Okay, I'm all packed. I have one bag at the door for my DD to see (she thinks we are staying over at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto tomorrow night)

and another bag in the garage.

The airport limo comes at 6:00am, I will get her into the car and then hopefully sneak the other bag to the car without her seeing it

If I were to do a room request, do I need to let my AAA travel agent know or do I call AKL a couple weeks before check in? Since Im not going till Dec 2007, I still have tons of time. Also if I wanna make a request to be on the Zebra trail with a good view of the animals, what should I request exactly?

Oh, your DD is going to be so surprised!! I'm praying that your friend finds the birth certificate or the letter works....either way, I've got my fingers crossed for you. GOOD LUCK!

Hey Teresa-I can't help you with what to ask specifically about the Zebra trail but you travel agent can absolutely make special requests for you-(rooms though are basically assigned on arrival and its probably better to only make 2 special requests because when you start piling on too much I think it becomes confusing... -as for specific rooms on the Zebra Trail someone else will have to answer that...

Oh my gosh Cass...you have my deepest sympathies...I'm sure everything is going to work out amazingly well... but don't you love when your torn between hugging your friends while simultaneously strangling them... I'd have to say I agree she could have maybe looked for her documents like last week... but GOOD GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A FABULOUS TIME....I'm sure this will all be a bad memory by tonight when you are sipping a wonderful drink and eating some of those Zebra Domes...

You may call your AAA agent and ask to "request" a room on Zebra Trail. Also, approximately 3-4 days prior to arrival you may fax a request to AKL with your name, reservation number, date of arrival/departure. The AKL fax number is 407-938-4799. Please remember it is only a request, and it won't be guaranteed. That said, I'm sure you'll have a great time wherever your AKL room is!

Also, look at the AKL room map before you go to get a sense of where you would ideally like to be (general area). If you don't get that room assignment, ask at check-ing if there is anything available in the area you would prefer.

Hey all!! I love this thread and I'm sure that directions on how to find a map of the AKL is buried in here somewhere but it's a long thread so could one of you veterens help me out??

We're heading to AKL on 1/8 for 4 nights. It's my 3yo DS 1st visit to Disney. This resort looked awesome and DH likes a little more quiet than being "so close" to the Disney action without leaving the property.

Any info is appreciated!!!
