Hi everyone!

Slkant - We were at AKL CL for a week last year. I ask about the Zebra Domes. They told me Boma like to keep them as their special treat. Since they are available for purchase in Mara I find that hard to believe. I will be at AKL in a couple of weeks. I will ask about them too. If nothing else I'll be heading to Mara for my FIX.

Maybe if all of us staying on the CL bombarb them with requests for ZDs, they'll eventually give in

Cass Delaware is the first state to be ratified. So we are called "The First State" I currently live in Delaware. Florida is the Sunshine State and that is where I want to live some day.

Kimmar you weren't suppose to catch me looking into WL just interested in all our options for our Honeymoon. Of course if it was up[ to DFi there would be no question about it...AKL all the way.

...you are probably not aware that I am the original creator of the WL FAQ threads [hence, I had the tag "Keeper of the WL FAQs" - however, I have NO IDEA where that tag went...] so the WL has a special place in my heart. Have you entertained the idea of a split stay?? It's relly not as bad as it seems - we've done it TWICE already, although I CERTAINLY won't recommend transferrring your luggage on TOP of a vehicle without it securely fastened....

I hate to hijack the thread and all the fun going around but I thought maybe you may be able to help me.

For the past month I've been checking nearly daily for a standard view room at AKL May 18-26 with no luck. I called today and "Mitch" said it the lack of availability may be attributed to the construction going on next year in prep for the DVC changes. He couldn't give that official confirmation since that was what he heard from other people who worked there and not the scripting on his screen. Does that sound right to everyone else?

brookelizabeth - What a wonderful few weeks you are having. I am so happy that you enjoyed your honeymoon and time at WDW. It is certainly a special place. Have a wonderful trip to Israel, that is one place I am going to visit before long. Do you think you can share pictures when you get back?

Thank you Angel! Yes, it's been a bit of a fairytale these past few weeks--I'm lovin' it! I can most definetly share pictures of Israel when I get back. I plan to place them, along with a TR on our website. I'll let ya'll know when I get that going.

What a GREAT trip you have planned, sounds amazing! Be sure to share your TR with us when you get back!

Well, I'm off to Israel at 6:30 tomorrow---er in the morning... DH and I JUST ate dinner. I did get more of my TR written and pics uploaded, but haven't been able to put the two together. Chances are I'll have some internet sometime this coming week, so I might get on here...

Yes that sounds right. They will be working on the rooms on on the 5th floor, anyone who would have normally stayed there would be on 4, etc... it will affect availability of the standard view rooms too.

...it is definitely possible that rooms had already been allocated for renovation, even if the renovation hasn't 'formally' begun....besides, the AKL has become VERY popular in the last year.....
