Well its a Jet Blue package that features the value resorts .I had a credit i had to use before i will loose it. They had a getaway package for Disney
so i used the credit towards that. I know i am going to miss Akl

I would LOVE to go to London! I bet that was incredibly romantic!

I just took my DD12 to London (and a british isles cruise) last summer, while it wasn't romantic - we had a great time, I have some nice photos of London and the other places we went on my website casshew.com

I had a standard view booked and at check-in was told I had a "complimentary upgrade to savannah view"! OK, so when I saw where it was........... #3374 - I knew I wouldn't be seeing any animals from my balcony!! The room itself was nice so I wasn't too concerned. I set my bag in the room and headed to the parks. When I came back to AKL and made that L-O-N-G walk back to my room, that's when I decided I'd rather have ANY view as long as it was closer to the lobby!!

The CM's couldn't have been nicer and they were able to get my room changed. I still got my "upgrade" and had a very great, convenient location: #4219.

Hey RachelTori-God bless this thread because I've already warned DH about FFlats so we'll be prepared if offered...

Kimmar-I did finally finish reading your report... : ...left you a longer message on the report thread....

brookelizabeth...not to pressure you but we really do like to read those reports and view those photos..especially AKL ones....

Boma has zebra domes every night, but when I stayed AKL concierge for 10 nights I only saw them once in the lounge.

Another time I stayed for 4 nights and didn't see them at all in the lounge.

I was really hoping the concierge lounge would have them often. Oh well. At least we've got reservations at Boma and there's always Mara. How can the CL not have the resort's feature dessert at least a few days a week?

You know what, ask them... Just say you didn't get a chance to eat at Boma and you wondered if they could offer some in the lounge, they might do it,no problem.

Also, they sell them in 4 packs at the grab & go area of Mara

Great suggestion! I'll give it a try and just won't get too disappointed if I end up needing to make a trip to Mara.

I hope it doesn't take me 18 months! However, it might take quite a while-just because of my trip to Israel (leaving tomorrow!) and well, life as a newlywed is fairly time consuming!

I do have a large chunk of it written-I just need to throw in the pictures and edit it. I am going to try to work on it more tonight.

Cass Delaware is the first state to be ratified. So we are called "The First State" I currently live in Delaware. Florida is the Sunshine State and that is where I want to live some day.

Looks like there is whole bunch of us getting ready for major trips.

brookelizabeth - What a wonderful few weeks you are having. I am so happy that you enjoyed your honeymoon and time at WDW. It is certainly a special place. Have a wonderful trip to Israel, that is one place I am going to visit before long. Do you think you can share pictures when you get back?

Slkant - We were at AKL CL for a week last year. I ask about the Zebra Domes. They told me Boma like to keep them as their special treat. Since they are available for purchase in Mara I find that hard to believe. I will be at AKL in a couple of weeks. I will ask about them too. If nothing else I'll be heading to Mara for my FIX.

Who all in going to at AKL during Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays? It would be fun to get together if possible.

kimmar067- Kimmar, how are you doing? I am sure you are getting all ready for your mom's visit. How wonderful it will be for you and your whole family to be together. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

As some of you know we have a Big Family get-together planned for our trip. My DH does not know but our kids and grandkids are all coming to the Poly to surprise their dad. I have many surprises planned for everyone that is going including V&A Chef's Table for dinner one night, Wishes cruise, MVMCP and sleigh rides just to name a few. I am so excited. So for DH does not know a thing. And boy has that been hard to do.
