Hey guys! Gotta question!

Does anyone know of a site similar to Tikiman's Polynesian site, but for AKL or WL?

I'm thinking of putting one together to have all the info from threads like this in one handy place, but I don't want to do it if it already exists!

Going for my b-day Jan 10 thru the 18th. Special present from DH but I get to do all the planning. Staying at AKL for the first time for three days in conceirge. Can someone please fill me in on what room request I might make?
We asked for a king size bed savannah view. These are a few of the things I have planned for those three days. I am doing the sunrise safari, culinary tour, Bomas for dinner. Also I have planned one entire day at the lodge starting that day with Bomas for breakfast. What other lodge activities have people done and have you liked them or not and why? Also do any of them require an advanced reservation? Thank you in advance for your input.

Thanks John's Mom!! We did have a GREAT time and we are discussing our next trip to the World! (who knows when it will be though, lol) I am working on the pics/trip report right now.

For Israel we bought a really nice video camera-one of those new ones with a hard drive in them. Crazy expensive, but DH has a different video camera-that is professional quality-that we will sell up on our return from Israel to try and make up the cost of the new one. I will be taking hundreds of pictures I'm sure though to go along with the video footage.

What an awesome birthday present!

We did the night vision goggles-it does not need an advance reservation-you can just walk up to the CM's who have them and wait in line. It was pretty cool. It starts at 9:00 pm out near the small hot tub.

Speaking of hot tubs, we spent some time in those as well. We went in the late evening-around 9:00 to 10:00 pm (possibly later?) and no one was in them....veryyyyyy nice!

wow!! what a great thread! I have got to page 20 I think but not sure I will be able to read it all. I am going to AKL Aug 12th 07 for 14 nights staying in a Savannah room. Travelling with mum, sister and son (8). I am already addicted to this board and trying to take in the wealth of info on here. Since I have 9 months to do that I am hoping to be fully equipped when we go to make the best of my hols. It is the first trip for DS to WDW. I have been once before in 1992 so a long time ago. Anyway I wont rant on - loving this thread and the pics.

I don't know of any. If you do decide to do this, I'm sure it'll be a huge hit; there are so many people who love both of the Lodges!!
