Where are the King bed rooms at AKL? Are they scattered all over the resort? Or at they in one particular area?

I am just ironing out the final ADRs with AKL Concierge for our December trip - sometimes they did odd things (ie) I asked them to please book dinner at Narcoosees followed by the GF Wishes Cruise, which was fine - except they booked dinner for 7pm and the cruise is at 8:30pm and you have to be there 15 minutes early. That gives 1 hour & 15 minutes for 4 people to have appetizers/dinner/dessert.

I had to write for an earlier time

Don & Junaita have been awesome, they got us Dolphin in Depth, a sleighride from HoopDeeDoo and were able to confirm a special request for the Candlelight processional dining time (letting us eat at a better time than the package forces you too)

I have been more than pleased with the Itinerary Planning Service.

Does anyone know if their office is actually at AKL? I was thinking of sending them a little something.

They booked my dinner at Yachtsman and the cruise for illuminations the same way. Dinner at 7pm. However, the fireworks is at 9pm so i have to be at
the marina by 830.

Is an hour & a half long enough for your dinner? What if they don't have a table and you have to wait a bit?

Yes, all of them are from the 5th floor and it is absolutely not too far from the action. I think it's perfect!

I can't imagine anything looking more perfect! What times of day seem to have optimal animal viewing? I'm figuring part of it depends on luck but would like to maximize my chances for seeing the lovely creatures.

...a Tag Fairy is just about the BEST-EST thing in the world...she (or he , not sure!) flits around the DIS, sprinkling pixie dust on DIS'ers and gives them a colorful tag underneath their avatar.....usually when ya LEAST expect it..... !

Are the 6th floor rooms a different layout than the 5th floor??? Just wondering.

I haven't stayed on the 6th floor. As far as I know, they are the same.

...they ARE the same, with the exception of the sixth floor 'overhang' when you step out onto your balcony.....

A four-cup coffee maker is in each room. It makes enough coffee to fill up two of the mugs provided.

The Concierge Planning Staff (Don, Juanita, etc.) have an office on another floor at the AKL. I brought a gift for them and was told I had to leave it at the Concierge Desk and they would make sure that the planning staff got it.

That was exactly my experience.
