Jambo Standard view Kudo Trail?

I did online check in and gave me a chance to put in special request and the kudo trail was part of the choices. I have booked a standard room at Jambo in the past and was lucky enough to get the standard rooms on the sunset savanna instead of the pool view.. however I find it odd that I could select Kudo trail with a standard view.. any thoughts?? The choices were Kudo trail, near transportation and 5th floor which I also thought was odd since DVC rooms at Jambo are all on the 5th. floor!
