I was wondering what the setup is for a Standard room for Jambo AKV. We would very much want Jambo and a Standard for point reasons. Wondering how difficult it would be to get that at 7 months and I am wondering what we are giving up if we are able to get a Standard (vs a Savannah) Thanks for any input.

Oh and we are thinking of doing this around Memorial weekend. Any hope of a 7 month booking during that week??? Thanks!!

The standard view rooms at Jambo House are all pool view. They are the same size as the equivilent Jambo savanna view room.

Can you tell me what the differences are in Standard, Value and Savannah in Jambo house. I thought that Jambo rooms were different than Kidani (I understand that concierge is only at Jambo). Thanks for your help! Trying to see what we would give up by staying in a Value or Standard IF we could get them. Thanks!

The only thing you would give up in Jambo House between a standard and savannah is the view of the animals (which you can see from the halls and lobby.

The value is smaller, so you will be giving up a bit more there. We loved our standard view Jambo house room when we stayed there a few weeks ago. We did receive a HA room but since it was just DH and I, that was not a problem.

I do think I will try for a savannah view next time since the kids will be with us and we will be celebrating a birthday.
